RESOLUTION NO. 001 SERIES OF 2022

RESOLUTION CONTRACTING THE SERVICES


OF DARIUS M. GUERRERO, AVA, MVA
AND MR. NOEL R. COQUIA TO PROVIDE ASSISTANCE
IN THE FIELD OF LABOR RELATIONS

WHEREAS, CENPELCO EMPLOYEES ASSOCIATION (CEA) is a legitimated labor


organization registered with the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) and duly
certified Sole and Exclusive Bargaining Agent (SEBA) of all the rank and file employees of
Central Pangasinan Electric Cooperative, Inc. (CENPELCO);

WHEREAS, CEA needs to be assisted in the different functions and activities relating to
the management and affairs of the union, labor relations with the management of the
CENPELCO and compliance with the regulations of the Department of Labor and
Employment (DOLE) and other pertinent government agencies;

WHEREAS, particularly, the CEA needs to be assisted with a negotiator and


spokesperson in the negotiation of the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) with
CENPELCO, grievances and labor disputes involving the union and/ or its members and
the implementation of the CBA and other legal matters;

WHEREAS, the assistance will also involve legal research and advise, education and
training and trade union administration;

WHEREAS, Darius M. Guerrero, AVA, MVA (Guerrero) and Mr. Noel R. Coquia (Coquia)
are professionals in the field of labor relations and by assessment of the herein
Executive Officers and Board of Directors of CEA, are qualified to provide assistance to
the Union;

NOW, THEREFORE, FROM THE PREMISES, RESOLVED AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED,


the Executive Officers and Board of Directors of the CENPELCO EMPLOYEES
ASSOCIATION (CEA):

1. Engages the services of Darius M. Guerrero, AVA, MVA and Mr. Noel R. Coquia to
assist the union on all matters relating to research, education, collective bargaining
negotiation and implementation, grievance and labor dispute management and other
related issues affecting the association/union;

2. Appointing Darius M. Guerrero, AVA, MVA and Mr. Noel R. Coquia as


Spokesperson and Deputy Spokesperson of the CEA in the Collective Bargaining
negotiation with the CENPELCO Management; and
RESOLUTION NO. 001 SERIES OF 2022: RESOLUTION CONTRACTING THE SERVICES OF DARIUS M.
GUERRERO, AVA, MVA AND MR. NOEL R. COQUIA TO PROVIDE ASSISTANCE IN THE FIELD OF LABOR
RELATIONS

3. The President of CEA is authorized to discuss and agree with Guerrero and
Coquia administrative, resource and logistics agreements.

RESOLVED FURTHER, to furnish all concerned with a copy of this Resolution.

This Resolution shall be effective immediately.
