Linear Low Density Polyethylene Injection Molding

This document provides information on LLDPE M2550, a butene co-monomer based linear low density polyethylene. It has excellent flow and processability as well as good warpage resistance. Typical properties include a melt flow index of 50.0 g/10min and a density of 0.926 g/cm3. It is recommended for applications like masterbatch and compounding, housewares, and thin walled containers. The polyethylene has a tensile strength of 13 MPa and elongation at break over 400%. It is suitable for injection molding with a recommended processing temperature between 180-220°C and meets regulatory standards for food contact.
