Greetings from BFAR-CAR!

The Special Area for Agricultural Development (SAAD) Program of the Department of
Agriculture-Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources is essentially anchored in poverty incidence
reduction, and local food production activation, through livelihood assistance for marginalized
Filipino farmers and Fisherfolk.

With this, the Innabuyog to Mataragan Framers and Fisherfolk Association (IMaFFiA) and
Timpuyog ti Lat-ey Farmers and Fisherfolk Association (TiLaFFiA) as SAAD program
beneficiaries, received aquaculture livelihood interventions after series of social preparation
activity/trainings, we will be conducting Harvest Festival in Brgy. lat-ey Malibcong, Abra, to
witnessed the result of the first stocking of our Fisherfolk on September 28, 2023, Thursday,
8:00 o’clock in the morning onwards to be held at the Lat-ey, Malibcong, Abra.

As our partner in the program implementation, we would like to invite you, together with the staff
of the Office of the Municipal Agriculture headed by Mrs. Cecillia Labbagan. to participate in the
abovementioned activity.

Thank you very much for your continuous support in the improvement of the fisheries sector in the
Cordillera.
