SXM Bumper Cars & Inflatables has identified the need of providing a new type of family
entertainment activity for the island of St. Maarten worth investing in. Our Coolest Battery
Bumper Cars are the only easy to use portable bumper cars that are perfect for Street Fairs, Party
Rentals, School Events, Amusement Parks etc. Children, and adults can now enjoy the rush of
bumping into each other in a safe and fun environment. What makes our product unique is it
allows us the mobility to move our operation from location to location. All our bumper cars are
battery operated and features dual joysticks steering riders that can move forward, backward,
left, right or spin in circles while having a good laugh. Setup time takes less than twenty minutes
with its inflatable arena and yes, we are ready to make money.
SXM Bumper Cars & Inflatables will be part of the amusement and recreational industry. The
target audience are for persons of all ages up to 275lbs. The game of bumper cars brings new
excitement to any recreation or leisure environment for the for individuals and families.
Although the recreational business is highly competitive, we believe that there is a place for
high-quality, attractive, and affordable fun. Our goal is to build and market our product suited to
entertain various age groups.
Play time of the bumper car ride is usually charged by time. A five-minute ride on a bumper car
is $5. In an hour you can earn $60. Ten rides will total $600 an hour. If the business is
operational for six hours a day preferably on weekends, expected earnings will be $3,600 per
day. Hence, play time prices and actual conditions of a bumper car ride are free to adjust based
on demand.
The bumper car business is a low-investment but high-reward that requires approximately
$20,000 - $25,000 capital to get started. This require purchasing of one inflatable arena, 4

rechargeable bumper cars with batteries, and two blowers. All equipment will be stored in a safe
storage area, and maintenance will be performed by the team.

SXM Bumper Cars & Inflatables is sole proprietorship company owned by Mrs. Donatien Reid-
Joseph, located in Delight Estate 84, Belvedere. In 2022, while visiting an amusement park in
Miami sparked the idea of operating a recreational amusement ride for kids. With the help of my
creative and dedicated husband we decided to offer portable and rechargeable bumper cars that
allow us mobility options to move our operation from location to location. The battery bumper
cars are suitable for operating in small playgrounds, carnivals, parties, and other event venues.
The product requires no site restrictions, and its easy to assemble and dis-assemble on site in
minutes. The business will be managed solely by Mrs. Reid who has experienced in business
management and administration background. The business will require between 2 to 4
employees depending on demand once operational. All maintenance will perform by a chief
mechanic.

SXM Bumper Cars & Inflatables will provide battery operated cars with a portable inflatable
platform for driving use. Our initial inventory will consist of four (4) versatile LED lighted cars,
with a fast, easy set-up and tear down time at any event. Features of our products will include the

High back head rest to protect riders head and neck
State of the art Safety features (adjustable/pivotal seatbelts)

These are the world-famous battery bumper cars, that can be used almost anywhere at any time.
There is little maintenance and they ae easy to operate using out state of the art remote control
system. The bumper cars have music and lights, and they can be set at to run 2,3,4, or 5 minutes.

industry in St. Maarten is very limited. Most family recreational actitvites can be found in one or
two established arcades on the island located in the movie theater and shopping plazas.
To grow the company, Kaboom Bumper Cars will engage in the following:
Intense advertising using social media (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter etc. and other
media platforms
Collaborate with various businesses or organizations that offer similar products i.e.
(bouncing castles, popcorn, cotton candy etc.)
Organize pop-up family fun days at various locations on the island (Festival Village,

Currently, the only person in charge of Kaboom Bumper Cars is the owner, Mrs. Donatien Reid
Joseph. As profits increase, the company will look into expanding its operation with additional
cars and arenas. In addition, will look adding an employee (s) to assist with events and
marketing. The target demographic for the company will be persons of all aged groups up to
275lbs. The company will increase awareness to our targeted customers through online
advertising and attending events/fairs.
