Opening scene – scene 2 – INT: BEDROOM – MORNING
BONNIE wakes up. An extra close up on BONNIE’s eyes while she’s still asleep + when she wakes
(eyes open). The text “SUPPER” is then displayed on the screen. BONNIE then gets up and sits on the
side of the bed. She looks back at her husband before she puts on her robe and walks out of the
room. Narration is played in the background.
Scene 3 -4 - INT: BATHROOM/HALLWAY - MORNING
BONNIE walks into bathroom and closes the door behind her. She gets dressed in the bathroom.
First, she removes her robe then ties her dress then puts on her apron. Narration is played in the
background.
Scene 5 - 7 - INT: BEDROOM - MORNING
BONNIE quietly walks into bedroom. BONNIE then sits down in front of the vanity and does her
makeup. She does her lipstick and applies blush on her face. Narration is played in the background.
After she’s done, she then looks at herself in the mirror with awe before getting up and leaving the
room.
Scene 8 - INT: STAIRS- MORNING
BONNIE is walking down the stairs and enters the kitchen.
Scene 9 - 10 - INT: KITCHEN - MORNING
BONNIE is walking through a set of open doors into the kitchen. BONNIE then turns on the radio and
the song “Do you really wanna fall in love” by Frigga starts playing.
Scene 11- INT: BEDROOM - MORNING
DOUGLAS wakes up and gets ready (getting ready is not shown). DOUGLAS rubs his eyes, sighing and
eventually gets out of bed (out of frame). A little bit of the music is heard playing in the background
Scene 12 – 15 - INT: KITCHEN - MORNING
BONNIE is cooking breakfast. BONNIE pours the cooking oil into the pan. She then cracks an egg and
cooks it in the pan. BONNIE then opens a pack of bacon and cooks two pieces of bacon in the pan.
Music continues to play, and narration plays in the background. BONNIE then grabs a plate and a
spatula and starts putting the egg and bacon on the plate.
Scene 16 - INT: STAIRCASE - MORNING
DOUGLAS is going downstairs and into the dining room. The music is faintly playing in the
background.
Scene 17 - 19 - INT: KITCHEN/DINING ROOM - MORNING
BONNIE is setting the table for breakfast. BONNIE holds the plates and takes them to the dining
table. DOUGLAS the enters the room. BONNIE asks DOUGLAS to have breakfast, she is ignored as
DOUGLAS grabs his fedora and leaves the room. BONNIE, downtrodden, leans against the table and
looks to the floor. Music still playing in the background. DOUGLAS the leaves for work. BONNIE
looking upset while in the background DOUGLAS walks down the hall to go to work, puts on his
fedora. BONNIE turns her head to look at DOUGLAS as he leaves. BONNIE then sits down at the table
to eat, narration is played in the background;
*Cuts to a black screen, music still playing till the song finishes.
Scene 20 - INT: KITCHEN, LIVING ROOM AND GARAGE - AFTERNOON TO EVENING
Scenes of BONNIE doing house chores; like laundry, doing the dishes, vacuuming and reading the
cookbook flashes in between scenes of BONNIE getting yelled at by DOUGLAS. Narration plays in the
background.
*Cuts to a black screen. Silence occurs for a few seconds. Then the doorbell rings.
Scene 21 – 22 - INT: HALLWAY - NIGHT
BONNIE goes to open the door after hearing the doorbell. BONNIE opens the front door and is
greeted by a slap. DOUGLAS slaps BONNIE in the face and walks into the house pass Bonnie
deliberately bumping into her while Bonnie holds her face after the slap.
Scene 23 - INT: LIVING ROOM - NIGHT
DOUGLAS sits down in the recliner and demands for a drink. DOUGLAS is sitting down and reaching
for a glass. Observing the glass, DOUGLAS then slams his empty glass on the table just next to him
and demands harshly for BONNIE to get him a drink.
Scene 24 - INT: HALLWAY TO KITCHEN - NIGHT
BONNIE walks from the hallway into the kitchen to cook dinner.
Scene 25 - INT: LIVING ROOM - NIGHT
DOUGLAS is sat down on the rocking chair waiting for his drink.
Scene 26 – 27 – INT: KITCHEN – NIGHT
An extreme close up of the cookbook focusing on the sentence “Using meat mallet, gently pound
pork.” BONNIE then grabs the meat from the container and slaps it aggressively on the chopping
board. She then grabs the mallet and pounds the meat two times.
Scene 28 – INT: LIVING ROOM – NIGHT
BONNIE murders DOUGLAS. DOUGLAS abruptly turns around. BONNIE smashes the glass bottle on
Douglas’s head.
Scene 29 – INT: KITCHEN – NIGHT
Cuts to BONNIE pounding the meat once more
*Cuts to a black screen. Silence occurs for a few seconds then the sound of the stove turning on
gradually occurs as well as the Fantasia instrumental.
Scene 30 – 31 – INT: KITCHEN – NIGHT
An extreme close up of the cookbook focusing on the sentence “Heat oil in large frying pan; cook
pork, in batches.” Music continues to play in the background. BONNIE then slaps the meat
aggressively into the pan. She then leans on the counter and waits for it to cook. Music continues to
play in the background
Scene 32 – INT: LIVING ROOM– NIGHT
BONNIE is dragging DOUGLAS’S dead body across the floor, carrying him from his shoulders.
Dragging him out of the frame (left side). Music continues to play in the background.
Scene 33 – INT: KITCHEN – NIGHT
BONNIE is cooking the meat; BONNIE then flips the meat over to the other side using tongs. Music
continues to play in the background.
Scene 34 - INT: DINING ROOM
BONNIE settles down to eat dinner. BONNIE is enjoying dinner with her now dead husband. Cut
shots with BONNIE alone, not eating, will be placed to give an 'inconclusive' type ending. Music
continues to play in the background. Halfway through the scene, narration plays.
*Cuts to black screen, music continues to keep playing
