Personal Journey and MBA Aspirations

The document discusses the faster adoption of green hydrogen by industries. It states that green hydrogen is hydrogen produced through renewable energy or low-carbon power, which has lower carbon emissions than grey hydrogen produced from natural gas. It says electrolysis of water is a commercially important process for green hydrogen production. It argues that faster adoption of green hydrogen can help India become energy independent and save money on fossil fuel imports annually. Advanced technologies like AIoT can help optimize and automate green hydrogen production systems. Benefits include deep decarbonization, saving on imports, making India a top energy consumer, and creating a large hydrogen industry.

Q1) Tell me something about yourself. (1.

5-2mins)
Greetings! My name is Arinjay Jain from Delhi. The meaning of my name is Victory over
Evil. I am a final year student pursuing [Link]. EMS from Christ University, NCR Campus. I
did my schooling from DPS, GBN. In my school, I had French till my Xth Standard and in
my class 9th and class 10th , I participated in the International French Language Olympiad
and secured 478 and 670 National rank in 2017 and 2018 respectively.
In my college, my 1st year went completely online and in those days, me and my friends
started to organise MUNs and Youth Parliaments independently. During my 1st two years of
college, I started providing tuition to junior kids.
In my college life, along with my studies , I was involved in a plethora of extra-activities
such as Head of Cultural Events in the Dept. Level Fest in which I lead a team of 20 students
to organise the cultural events of the fest which resulted in coordinating among more than
150 students and faculty incharges of the Fest. Then in the month of March, there is a
National Level Fest which is organised exclusively by Science Dept and I was given a role of
the Overall Coordinator, handling different committees and a bunch of events to organise our
1st hybrid fest incorporating more than 25 colleges in our events with 700 students
participating in different technical as well as non-technical events. In my final year, I was
selected as the University Student Council Representative for EMS and CMS.
Overall all these experiences in my life makes me a person who is structured in his thoughts,
thinks without bias and has a never give up attitude in life.

Q) Why MBA?
My experience at the UnderGrad with management was when I was the Head of Cultural
Events where working with a team of 20 students taught me the aspects of Team
Management, organising to receive Rs. 75,000 as sponsorship gave me experience of on
ground PR, Accounting and Business Development. Along with the same, coordinating with
various clubs, looking after the events and planning taught me the efficiency of time
management and stakeholder management. Hence, I would like to pursue my career in
Marketing which would incorporate Marketing research, Strategy and Finance and the best
way to learn all these is the Structured MBA program with Case based pedagogy which will
help me to understand the pillars of management and also give me a launchpad into my
favourite company i.e . ITC Ltd.

Q) Why NMIMS?
NMIMS is one of the top B-schools in India. I would like to be a part of MarGene-Marketing
in our Genes, marketing student club of NMIMS which would provide me a platform to
channel my marketing creativity and explore various dimensions of this field. From solving
corporate case studies to real life marketing knockouts, from unleashing the creative
territories of advertisement to enriching discussions with top corporates, this club through its
various inter and intra college events gives the novice marketer a chance to develop his skills
and test the water, before foraying into the corporate world.
Marketing Conclave, Brand Bucket Challenge, Markopolis: It is a unique platform to test
one’s marketing skills, where one gets to work on a live case study. This year, IMT
Ghaziabad and IIFT, Delhi emerged as the winners of this coveted title.
I would also like to be a part of the University Student Council of NMIMS whose vision is To
enhance the brand image of NMIMS Bengaluru on a global scale.
NMIMS Bangalore has this CSR Committee called Udyam, whose objective is to imbibe a
sense or feeling of "giving back to the society” along with the MBA curriculum.
WeCare (25th January – 13th February, 2021):
Udyam also acts as a facilitator for the flagship Winter Internship WeCare program at
NMIMS University, wherein students intern with various NGOs pan-India as a part of their
Civic Engagement activities.

Q) Why to Select You? What is unique about you?

me soft skills like:- team management, leadership, motivation, growing together, excellence
in service etc. This has motivated me to understand what to do in life as all these expressed
management and working for a cause.
My passions have helped me to become a person who has a “never give up” attitude and
understands what needs to be done for improvement with 360 degree experience and will
help me to grow holistically and will help me to become a good manager which will
eventually lead to growing business and will lead to creating employment.
I got to know my weakness and started working on the same.

Faster adoption of Green Hydrogen by Industries, as a commercially viable

fuel

Green hydrogen is hydrogen generated by renewable energy or from low-carbon power.

Green hydrogen has significantly lower carbon emissions than grey hydrogen, which is
produced by steam reforming of natural gas, which makes up the bulk of the hydrogen
[Link] hydrogen is obtained by electrolysis of water. Electrolysis is
commercially important as a stage in the separation of elements from naturally occurring
sources such as ores using an electrolytic cell.

India is not Energy independent today. India is spending more than 12,00,000 crores
to import energy every year. For India’s progress and to make India self-reliant, it is
necessary for India to be energy independent.

Among expanded speculation, government support, designing turn of events and a

talented labour force, advanced innovation is one of the basic switches for speeding
up the progress to green hydrogen – particularly (AIoT) Artificial Intelligence of
Things – a mix of computerised reasoning and web of things innovation that
empowers the streamlining and robotization of frameworks through upgraded
information for the board and investigation.

Energy utilisation, plant execution, creation rates, virtue and capacity are
among the Key Exhibition Pointers (KPI) for hydrogen creation which expect
perceivability to guarantee effective creation.

Benefits

 ● Hydrogen is a unique energy vector and can do deep in decarbonisation of

economy
 ● Hydrogen can help India to save $160 billion worth imports of fossil fuels
 ● India will become world’s 3rd largest energy consumer by 2030
 ● India can supply world’s 25% hydrogen needs and can create $10 trillion
