General
HAVI Samplers are used to collect samples of Liquid or Gas from a Pipeline, Tank or a System. The Samples are collected
in a Sampling Bomb and then transported for analysis in a Laboratory.
We offer a wide range of Sampling Systems sui ng to the applica on requirement. All levels of sophis ca on are
available right from Manual Sampling to Complex mul Sampling Bomb Systems. Toxic, flammable and corrosive medias
are safely sampled using systems with all we ed parts in PTFE, PFA, Hastelloy and other exo c materials. Sampling
systems are also available in 316L Stainless steel for less corrosive du es.
Tradi onal methods of sample taking have been rather crude and rudimentary. They have included open ended valves
which have been allowed to flow into effluent drains to run clear any old product before flowing representa ve enough
to take a sample. Or taking a first sample and discarding it before a second representa ve sample is taken. These
tradi onal methods incur a lot of costs and can be environmentally unfriendly. Operator exposure is of great importance
too and may require the use of expensive safety equipment and clothing. By using a representa ve sample the operator
need only take the volume of sample required to carry out their tests, typically this can be only a few millilitres. Meaning
far less spent sample media to dispose of saving addi onal costs.

Introduc on
Sampling System Selec on
The basic Engineering of a Sampling System is to safely capture the sample from the Process line or a System. During
this, it is very essen al to ensure that the collected sample replicates the actual contents present in the Process. Variety
of Sample’s configura on are manufactured based on the type and cri cality of the sample to be collected.
First important thing is to select the type of Container for the collected Sample. The Chart below will help you to iden fy
the right Container for your Sample.

Sample Probes
HAVI manufactures Custom made Sampling Probe Assembly to the Customer Specifica ons. These Solu ons comes in
Manual Retractable Assembly and Screwed or Welded Probe to a Block & Bleed Valve or a Ball Valve. Probes are used to
extract Sample from the Center third of Pipe Line.
