 ASSEMBLY
INSTALLING THE CUTTING HEAD SHIELD Mount Bracket

1. Remove the wing nut and washer from the cutting head shield.
2. Insert the short tab (the one without a hole) on the mount
bracket into the slot on the cutting head shield (Fig. 1). Cutting Head

INSTALLING AND REMOVING THE ATTACHMENT

The coupler enables the use of various optional attachments.

WARNING: Before using any attachment, read and

understand the manual that came with the attachment.

1. Remove the hanger cap from the attachment. Keep the hanger
cap for use when storing the attachment. If present, remove the
gray spacer from the coupler.
2. Set the unit on a flat, level surface.
3. Turn the knob counterclockwise to loosen the coupler (Fig. 3).
4. Align the release button with the guide recess (Fig. 5).
5. Push the attachment straight into the coupler (Fig. 4) until the
release button snaps firmly into the primary hole (Fig. 5).
6. Turn the knob clockwise to tighten the coupler (Fig. 3).

WARNING: Before operating the unit, make sure the

release button is fully snapped into the primary hole and the
knob is securely tightened.

Removing the Attachment

1. Set the unit on a flat, level surface.
2. Turn the knob counterclockwise to loosen the coupler (Fig. 3).
3. Press and hold the release button (Fig. 5).
4. Pull the attachment straight out of the coupler (Fig. 4).

INSTALLING AND ADJUSTING THE HANDLE

Installing the Handle
1. Push the handle down onto the upper shaft housing (Fig. 6).
Make sure the bolt hole faces to the right (Fig. 6). Safety Label Upper

up or down the upper shaft housing to a comfortable location

4. Tighten the bolt with a flat-head screwdriver until the handle is
secure.
Adjusting the Handle
If the handle requires adjustment:
1. Loosen the bolt with a flat-head screwdriver (Fig. 6).
2. Hold the unit in the operating position (Fig. 15). Move the handle
up or down the upper shaft housing to a comfortable location
(Fig. 6). Make sure the handle is positioned beyond the end of the
safety label (Fig. 6).
3. Tighten the bolt with a flat-head screwdriver until the handle is
secure.

INSTALLING THE SHOULDER STRAP (OPTIONAL)
1. Push the strap up through the center slot in the buckle (Fig. 7).
2. Bend the strap over and push it down through the lower slot in Buckle

5. Snap the clip onto the shoulder strap / harness loop (Fig. 8).
6. Adjust the shoulder strap to fit the operator (Fig. 9). Pull the

 OIL AND FUEL
USING THE RIGHT OIL
Use a high-quality SAE 30 weight oil. DO NOT use dirty oil. Failure
to use clean oil of the correct type can cause premature engine
wear and failure.

ADDING OIL: INITIAL USE

NOTE: This unit was shipped without oil in the crankcase. Oil must
be added before starting the unit.
NOTE: This unit comes with a 3.04 fluid oz. (90 ml) container of oil. Oil Fill Hole

2. Unscrew the oil fill plug (Fig. 10).
3. Pour the entire container of oil into the oil fill hole (Fig. 10). DO
NOT overfill. Refer to Checking the Oil Level.
NOTE: Never add oil to the fuel tank. This unit has a four-cycle
engine. DO NOT mix oil with gasoline.
4. Wipe up any oil that may have spilled.
5. Make sure the O-ring is in place on the oil fill plug (Fig. 10).
6. Reinstall the oil fill plug.

IF... the engine fails to start after 3 attempts, begin the starting

 OPERATION
HOLDING THE UNIT

WARNING: Always wear eye, hearing, hand, foot and

body protection to reduce the risk of injury when operating
this unit.

WARNING: To prevent serious personal injury, avoid arm

contact with the engine while operating the unit. The
engine may be extremely hot.

• Stand in the operating position (Fig. 15). Stand up straight. Do

not bend over.
• Keep feet apart and firmly planted. Fig. 15
• Hold the shaft grip with the right hand. Keep the right arm
slightly bent.
• Hold the handle with the left hand. Keep the left arm straight.
• Hold the unit at waist level.
• Position the cutting head a few inches above the ground.

ADJUSTING THE TRIMMING LINE LENGTH

This unit is equipped with a bump head. Trimming line can be
released from the cutting head without stopping the engine.
To release more line, lightly tap the bump knob on the ground (Fig.
16) while operating the unit at high speed. For best results, tap the
bump knob on bare ground or hard soil. Attempting to release line in
tall grass may stall the engine.
NOTE: Do not rest the cutting head on the ground while the unit is
running.
Each time the bump knob is tapped, about 1.5 inches (38 mm) of
trimming line is released. Bump Knob
NOTE: Always keep the trimming line fully extended. Line release Fig. 16
becomes more difficult when the cutting line gets shorter.
A blade in the cutting head shield will cut the line to the proper
length if any excess line is released.

WARNING: Do not remove or alter the line cutting blade

assembly. Excessive line length will make the unit
overheat. This may lead to serious personal injury or
damage to the unit.

TIPS FOR BEST RESULTS

• For most operations, cut from side to side.
• To direct clippings away from the operator, tilt the cutting head
slightly down to the right; cut from left to right whenever possible.
• Cut tall grass (over 8 inches (20cm)) from the top down by
lowering the cutting head onto the grass.
• Cut with the tip of the trimming line.
• Cut in small increments. Move slowly. Do not force the unit.
• Do not trim wet grass or weeds.
NOTE: Some line breakage will occur from:
• Entanglement with foreign matter
• Normal line fatigue
• Attempting to cut thick vegetation
• Forcing the line into objects such as walls or fence posts

DECORATIVE TRIMMING
When trimming around trees, posts, fences, etc., rotate the whole
unit so that the cutting head is at a 30° angle to the ground (Fig. 17).

EDGING
The trimmer attachment can be used for edging (Fig. 18).
Alternatively, a bladed lawn edger attachment can also be
purchased for use with this unit.
Rotating the Trimmer Attachment

WARNING: To avoid serious personal injury and

damage to the unit, shut the unit off before rotating the
attachment.

When edging around sidewalks, flowerbeds, etc., rotate the trimmer

attachment 90° inside the coupler. DO NOT rotate the entire unit 90°. Fig. 18
1. Turn the knob counterclockwise to loosen the coupler (Fig. 19).
2. Press and hold the release button (Fig. 19).
3. Rotate the attachment until the release button snaps firmly into
the 90° edging hole (Fig. 19). Release Button

WARNING: Only snap the release button into the 90°

edging hole when edging with the trimmer attachment.
Using the 90° edging hole with other attachments could

Hard surfaces, such as sidewalks, can cause the trimming line to Knob

REPLACING THE TRIMMING LINE

Bump Knob
Only use the trimming line described in the Specifications section. Spool Cover

WARNING: Never use metal-reinforced line, wire, chain or

rope. These can break off and become dangerous projectiles.

NOTE: Always use the correct line length when installing trimming
line. The line may not release properly if the line is too long.
NOTE: The cutting head will remain attached to the unit. Arrows

1. If necessary, remove any old trimming line and/or obstructions

from the cutting head. Refer to Removing Old Trimming Line and
Obstructions.
2. Cut two 10-foot (3.0 m) lengths of new trimming line. Cut one Eyelet
end of each line at a 30 degree angle (Fig. 21).
3. Turn the bump knob to align the arrows on the bump knob with 30º
the arrows on the spool cover (Fig. 20).
4. Insert one of the lines into an eyelet on the cutting head (Fig. 21).
Use the angled end and push the line in about 3 inches (7.5 cm). X
Repeat this process with the other line and remaining eyelet.
Trimming
5. Turn the bump knob to wind the line until about 5 inches (12.5 cm) Line
protrude from each side of the cutting head (Fig. 22).
NOTE: DO NOT push the bump knob down while winding the line.
The bump knob will only turn one way, depending upon the unit

NOTE: If too little line is left protruding, it could retract inside the
cutting head.

Removing Old Trimming Line and Obstructions
Bump Knob
1. When the trimming line runs out, the last piece should
automatically eject from the cutting head. If it does not, pull the
remaining line out of the cutting head.
2. If the line will not come out or the cutting head is otherwise
obstructed:
a. Insert a flat-head screwdriver into the notch on the tab (Fig. 23).
b. Gently tilt the screwdriver up and hold it in place (Fig. 23).
c. While holding the screwdriver in place, gently twist the
screwdriver to unlock the tab from the tab slot (Fig. 24).
d. Remove the spool cover (Fig. 24). DO NOT remove the spring
from the cutting head base (Fig. 24). Fig. 22
e. Push the bump knob through the spool cover. (Fig. 24). If the
eyelets come off, reinsert the eyelets on the spool cover (Fig. 21).
NOTE: DO NOT separate the bump knob from the inner reel (Fig. 24).
f. Remove any old trimming line and/or obstructions.
g. Use a clean cloth to clean the inner reel, cutting head base
and spool cover (Fig. 24).
h. Insert the bump knob and inner reel into the spool cover (Fig. 24).
i. Align the tabs on the spool cover with the tab slots on the
cutting head base (Fig. 24). Push the spool cover onto the
cutting head base until the tabs securely snap into place.

CHECKING THE OIL LEVEL

WARNING: Check the oil level before each use. The

importance of maintaining the proper oil level cannot be
overemphasized.

1. Stop the engine and allow it to cool.

2. Set the unit on a flat, level surface, such as a workbench or
table. The cutting head shield should hang over the edge so that
the engine is level (Fig. 25).
NOTE: Failure to keep the engine level may result in oil overfill.
3. Clean the area around the oil fill plug (Fig. 26) to prevent debris Fig. 25
from entering the oil fill hole (Fig. 26).
4. Unscrew the oil fill plug.
5. Look into the oil fill hole; use a flashlight if necessary. The oil
level should just touch the bottom thread of the oil fill hole

• If the oil level is too low, add a small amount of oil to the oil fill
hole until the oil is at the correct level.

WARNING: DO NOT overfill the crankcase.

OVERFILLING THE CRANKCASE MAY CAUSE SERIOUS

• If the oil level is too high, tip the unit and drain the excess oil
into an appropriate container (Fig. 28).

CHANGING THE OIL

Change the oil while the engine is still warm. The oil will flow freely Oil Fill Hole

1. Clean the area around the oil fill plug (Fig. 26) to prevent debris

2. Unscrew the oil fill plug.
3. Tip the unit vertically to pour the oil out of the oil fill hole and into Bottom Maximum

MAINTAINING THE AIR FILTER Slots
Air Filter Cover
Failure to maintain the air filter can result in poor performance or can
cause permanent damage to the engine. Engine failure due to
improper air filter maintenance is not covered by the product warranty.
Cleaning the Air Filter
1. Open the air filter cover: press in the lock tab and swing the air Air Filter Tabs

7. Close the air filter cover: insert the tabs on the air filter housing
into the slots on the air filter cover. Swing the air filter cover down
and press it closed until the lock tab snaps into place (Fig. 29).

ADJUSTING THE IDLE SPEED Idle Speed Screw

WARNING: The cutting head may spin during idle speed

adjustments. Wear protective clothing and observe all
safety instructions to prevent serious personal injury.

If the engine will not idle properly:

1. Start the engine. Refer to Starting and Stopping.
2. Release the throttle control and let the engine idle.
• If the engine stops, increase the idle speed. Use a small
Phillips screwdriver to turn the idle speed screw clockwise,
1/8 of a turn at a time, until the engine idles smoothly (Fig. 30). Fig. 30
• If the cutting head spins when the engine idles, reduce the idle
speed. Turn the idle speed screw counterclockwise, 1/8 of a
turn at a time, until the cutting head stops moving (Fig. 30).

MAINTAINING THE SPARK PLUG

1. Stop the engine and allow it to cool. Grasp the spark plug boot
firmly and pull it from the spark plug.
2. Clean around the spark plug. Remove the spark plug from the
cylinder head with a 5/8-inch socket, turning counterclockwise.

WARNING: Do not sand blast, scrape or clean spark plug

electrodes. Grit in the engine could damage the cylinder.

3. Inspect the spark plug. If the spark plug is cracked, fouled or (0.635 mm)
dirty, replace it with replacement part #794-00082, a Champion
RDZ4H or an equivalent spark plug.

5. Install the spark plug in the cylinder head. Tighten the spark plug
with a 5/8-inch socket, turning it clockwise until snug.

3. Allow the engine to cool. Remove the spark plug and put 5
drops of any high-quality motor oil into the cylinder. Pull the
starter rope slowly to distribute the oil. Reinstall the spark plug.
4. Thoroughly clean the unit and inspect it for any loose or
damaged parts. Repair or replace damaged parts and tighten
loose screws, nuts or bolts.
Preparing the Unit for Use after Long-term Storage
1. Remove the spark plug. Tip the unit and drain all of the oil from
the cylinder into an approved container. Reinstall the spark plug.
2. Change the oil. Refer to Changing the Oil.
NOTE: Do not use fuel that has been stored for more than 30 days.
Dispose of old fuel and oil according to federal, state and local
regulations.

Scope Of The Limited Warranty

MTD LLC offers a limited warranty to the Initial Purchaser for residential or otherwise non-commercial use of the Product: subject to the
Exclusions defined herein, during the Warranty Period (defined herein). The “Initial Purchaser” is the first person to purchase the Product
from an authorized Craftsman branded product dealer, distributor and/or retailer (each a “Retailer”). Except as otherwise set forth herein, the
limited warranty period for this new Product purchased by the Initial Purchaser is two (2) years from the date of purchase as shown on the
original sales receipt for the Product (“Warranty Period”).

3. Ajuste el perno con un destornillador de cabeza plana hasta que
la manija quede segura.

arranque eléctrico durante 10 intervalos, repita el procedimiento
de arranque.

 OPERACIÓN
CÓMO SOSTENER LA UNIDAD

ADVERTENCIA: Utilice siempre protección ocular,

auditiva, de manos, pies y corporal para reducir el riesgo
de sufrir lesiones durante la operación de esta unidad.

ADVERTENCIA: A fin de evitar lesiones personales

graves, evite el contacto del brazo con el motor mientras
opere la unidad. El motor puede estar muy caliente.

• Párese en la posición de arranque (Fig. 15). Párese derecho. No

se incline sobre el aparato.
• Mantenga los pies alejados y apoyados firmemente sobre el suelo. Fig. 15
• Sujete la empuñadura del eje con la mano derecha. Mantenga el
brazo derecho ligeramente doblado.
• Sostenga la manija con la mano izquierda. Mantenga el brazo
izquierdo bien derecho.
• Mantenga la unidad al nivel de la cintura.
• Coloque el cabezal de corte a algunas pulgadas del suelo.

AJUSTE DE LA LONGITUD DEL HILO DE RECORTE

Esta unidad está equipada con un cabezal de impacto. La línea de
corte puede salir del cabezal de corte sin necesidad de detener el
motor.
Para soltar más hilo, golpee suavemente la perilla de impacto
contra el suelo (Fig. 16) mientras utiliza la unidad a alta velocidad.
Para obtener los mejores resultados, golpee la perilla de impacto
contra suelo descubierto o duro. Si se intenta soltar hilo en un lugar
donde el césped está alto, se puede parar el motor.
NOTA: No apoye el cabezal de corte en el suelo mientras la unidad Perilla de impacto
está en marcha.
Cada vez que se golpea la perilla de impacto, se suelta Fig. 16
aproximadamente 1.5 pulgada (38 mm) de hilo de recorte.
NOTA: Siempre debe mantener el hilo de recorte completamente
extendido.
Resulta más difícil soltar hilo cuando se acorta el hilo de corte. La
cuchilla del protector del cabezal de corte corta el hilo a la longitud
correcta si se suelta hilo excesivamente.

ADVERTENCIA: No extraiga ni modifique el conjunto de

la cuchilla de corte del hilo. Si la longitud del hilo es
excesiva, se sobrecalentará la unidad. Esto puede
provocar lesiones personales graves o daños a la unidad.

CONSEJOS PARA OBTENER LOS MEJORES RESULTADOS

• Para la mayoría de las operaciones, realice cortes de lado a lado.
• Para alejar los recortes del operador, incline levemente el
cabezal de corte hacia abajo a la derecha, corte de izquierda a
derecha siempre que sea posible.
• Corte el pasto alto (de más de 20 cm [8 in]) de arriba hacia abajo
bajando el cabezal de corte hacia el pasto.
• Corte con la punta del hilo de recorte.
• Corte en pequeños incrementos. Muévase lentamente. No exija
demasiado a la unidad.
• No recorte césped o malezas que estén húmedos.

Cuando recorte alrededor de árboles, postes, vallas, etc., rote toda
la unidad de manera que el cabezal de corte quede en un ángulo de
30° en relación con el suelo (Fig. 17).

El accesorio de la recortadora puede ser utilizado para el bordeado
(Fig. 18). De manera alternativa, también se pueden comprar un
accesorio de bordeadora de césped con cuchillas para utilizar con
esta unidad.

La perilla de corte gira para un solo lado, dependiendo del Perilla de impacto

NOTA: Si queda muy poco hilo sobresaliendo, se podría retraer
dentro del cabezal de corte.
Extracción de hilo de recorte viejo y obstrucciones
1. Cuando el hilo de corte se acaba, el último trozo es expulsado
automáticamente del cabezal de corte. Si no ocurre esto, retire
el resto del hilo del cabezal de corte.
2. Si el hilo no quiere salir o si el cabezal de corte está obstruido
de otro modo:
a. Inserte un destornillador de cabeza plana en la ranura de la

la cubierta de la bobina (Fig. 21).

2. Ubique la unidad sobre una superficie plana y nivelada,
como un banco de trabajo o una mesa. El protector del cabezal
de corte debe quedar colgando del borde de manera que el
motor quede nivelado (Fig. 25).

3. Limpie la zona que rodea el tapón de llenado de aceite (Fig. 26) a
fin de evitar que ingresen residuos en el orificio de carga de aceite
(Fig. 26).

linterna si es necesario. El nivel de aceite sólo debe tocar la
rosca inferior del orificio de llenado de aceite (Fig. 27).

7. Compruebe que la junta tórica esté en su lugar en el tapón de
llenado de aceite (Fig. 26).
8. Vuelva a instalar el tapón de llenado de aceite.

NOTA: Deseche el aceite viejo de acuerdo con las normativas
federales, estatales y locales.
4. Limpie el aceite que se pueda haber derramado.
5. Vierta 3.04 onzas líquidas (90 ml) de aceite SAE 30 dentro del
orificio de llenado de aceite (Fig. 26).

6. Limpie el aceite que se pueda haber derramado.

7. Compruebe que la junta tórica esté en su lugar en el tapón de Fig. 28

8. Vuelva a instalar el tapón de llenado de aceite.

MANTENIMIENTO DEL FILTRO DE AIRE Tapa del filtro Ranuras

Si no se mantiene el filtro de aire se puede obtener un rendimiento
insuficiente o se pude dañar el motor de manera permanente. Las
averías del motor ocasionadas por un mantenimiento inadecuado
del filtro de aire no están cubiertas por la garantía del producto.

1. Abra la cubierta del filtro de aire: oprima la lengüeta de fijación y
gire la cubierta del filtro de aire hacia arriba (Fig. 29).

NOTA: Si se opera la unidad sin el filtro de aire y sin la cubierta del
filtro de aire se ANULARÁ la garantía.
7. Cierre la cubierta del filtro de aire: inserte las lengüetas de la
alojamiento del filtro de aire dentro de las ranuras de la cubierta
del filtro de aire. Gire la cubierta del filtro de aire hacia abajo y
oprímala para cerrarla hasta que la lengüeta de fijación entra a
presión en su lugar (Fig. 29).

AJUSTE DE LA VELOCIDAD DE RALENTÍ Tornillo de velocidad de ralentí

ADVERTENCIA: El cabezal de corte puede girar durante

los ajustes de la velocidad de ralentí. Utilice vestimenta de
protección y respete todas las instrucciones de seguridad
para evitar que se produzcan lesiones personales graves.

Si el motor no funciona al ralentí correctamente:

1. Arranque el motor. Consulte Arranque y Parada.
2. Suelte el control del acelerador y deje que el motor funcione en
ralentí.
• Si el motor se para, aumente la velocidad de ralentí. Use un Fig. 30
destornillador Phillips pequeño para girar el tornillo de
velocidad de ralentí en el sentido de las agujas del reloj, 1/8
de giro cada vez hasta que el motor funciona al ralentí de
manera uniforme (Fig. 30).
• Si el cabezal de corte gira cuando el motor funciona al ralentí,
reduzca la velocidad de ralentí. Gire el tornillo de velocidad de
ralentí en el sentido contrario de las agujas del reloj, 1/8 de
giro cada vez, hasta que se detenga el cabezal de corte (Fig. 30).

MANTENIMIENTO DE LA BUJÍA
1. Detenga el motor y deje que se enfríe. Sujete con firmeza la
funda de la bujía y tire para sacarla de la bujía.
2. Limpie alrededor de la bujía. Retire la bujía de la tapa del cilindro
con una llave de cubo de 5/8 pulgadas, girando en sentido
contrario a las agujas del reloj.

ADVERTENCIA: No limpie de forma abrasiva ni raspe

o limpie los electrodos de las bujías. La presencia de polvo 0.025 pulgadas
abrasivo en el motor podría dañar el cilindro. (0.635 mm)

3. Inspeccione la bujía. Si la bujía está agrietada, averiada o sucia,

reemplácela por una pieza de reemplazo n.° 794-00082, una
Champion RDZ4H o una bujía equivalente.
4. Use un calibrador de separación para ajustar una separación de
aire de 0.025 pulgadas (0.635 mm) (Fig. 31).
5. Instale la bujía dentro de la tapa del cilindro. Apriete la bujía con
una llave de cubo de 5/8 pulgadas, girando en el sentido de las
agujas del reloj hasta que quede ajustada.
NOTA: Si se usa una llave de par, apriete hasta:
110-120 pulgada•libra (12.3-13.5 N•m). No ajuste demasiado.
6. Vuelva a colocar la funda de la bujía.

un aceite para motor de alta calidad dentro del cilindro. Jale la
cuerda de arranque para distribuir el aceite. Coloque
nuevamente la bujía.
4. Limpie minuciosamente la unidad e inspeccione si hay alguna
pieza suelta o dañada. Repare o reemplace las piezas dañadas
y ajuste los tornillos, tuercas o pernos que estén flojos.
Preparación de la unidad para su uso luego del
almacenamiento a largo plazo
1. Retire la bujía de encendido. Incline la unidad para drenar todo
el aceite del cilindro en un recipiente adecuado. Coloque
nuevamente la bujía.
2. Cambie el aceite. Consulte Cambio de aceite.
NOTA: No use combustible que haya estado guardado durante más
de 30 días. Deseche el combustible viejo y aceite de acuerdo
con las normativas federales, estatales y locales.

Garantía Limitada
La garantía limitada establecida en este documento es otorgada por MTD LLC al Comprador Inicial (como se define aquí) con respecto al
nuevo producto manual de marca Craftsman ("Producto"). La presente garantía limitada no cubre los Sistemas de control de emisiones y no
constituye una Declaración de garantía del control de las emisiones federal según lo definido por las leyes federales de los Estados Unidos.
Consulte la Declaración de garantía de control de emisiones federal que se incluye en el manual del operador para conocer las garantías
que cubren los Sistemas de control de emisiones.

Alcance de la Garantía Limitada

MTD LLC ofrece una garantía limitada al Comprador inicial para uso residencial o para uso no comercial del Producto: sujeto a las
Exclusiones definidas aquí, durante el Período de Garantía (definido aquí). El "Comprador inicial" es la primera persona en comprar este
Producto de un concesionario, distribuidor y/o vendedor minorista autorizado de productos de marca Crafstman (cada uno denominado
"Vendedor minorista"). Excepto que se disponga lo contrario en el presente documento, el período de la garantía limitada para este nuevo
Producto adquirido por el Comprador inicial es de dos (2) años a partir de la fecha de compra, como se indica en el comprobante de venta
original correspondiente al Producto (“Período de la Garantía”).

Defectos de Mano de Obra o Materiales

Excepto por las Exclusiones, se garantiza que el Producto estará libre de defectos de fabricación en la mano de obra o los materiales
durante el Período de la Garantía. Durante el Período de Garantía, MTD LLC tendrá la opción de reparar o reemplazar cualquier pieza
original que esté cubierta por esta garantía limitada y que se determine que presenta un defecto de mano de obra o materiales.

Para Tener Derecho a esta Garantía Limitada, el Producto:

1. Debe haber sido comprado a un vendedor minorista autorizado de la marca Craftsman.

Lo que NO Cubre esta Garantía Limitada

Esta Garantía Limitada No Cubre lo Siguiente (las “Exclusiones”):

1. Los productos adquiridos fuera de los Estados Unidos.
2. Los daños producidos por la falta de mantenimiento y/o un mantenimiento inadecuado, según se describe en el manual del operador.
3. El desgaste normal resultante de usar el Producto.
4. El uso del Producto de manera no acorde al uso previsto para el mismo, como se describe en las instrucciones operativas, incluyendo,
sin limitación, abuso, uso indebido y/o descuidado del Producto o todo uso que no se compadezca y/o no cumpla con las instrucciones
que figuran en el manual del operador.
5. Cualquier artículo fungible, consumible o de mantenimiento rutinario que requiera reemplazo o servicio como parte del mantenimiento
normal, a menos que dichos artículos tengan defectos que causen fallas o desgaste prematuro dentro de los primeros treinta (30) días.
Donde corresponda, los artículos de uso normal incluyen, entre otros, perillas, carretes externos, línea de corte, carretes interiores,
poleas de arranque, cuerdas de arranque, correas de transmisión, cadenas de sierra, barras de guía, púas de cultivo, filtros, bujías,
estuches de transporte, fundas o cuchillas.
6. Todo Producto que haya sido alterado o modificado de alguna manera que no se compadezca con el diseño original del producto o de
alguna manera no aprobada.
7. Las reparaciones en concepto de pintura o los reemplazos por defectos en la pintura (que incluyen los materiales y la aplicación) están
cubiertos por un período de tres (3) meses.

Esta Garantía No Cubre, y MTD LLC No Asume Ninguna Responsabilidad por lo Siguiente:
1. Pérdida de tiempo o pérdida de uso del Producto.
2. Gastos de transporte y otros gastos incurridos en relación con el transporte del Producto hacia y desde el proveedor de servicios autorizado.
3. Cualquier pérdida o daño a otros equipos o elementos personales.
4. Daño resultante de la instalación o el uso de cualquier accesorio o pieza que no sea del OEM (fabricante de equipo original) para utilizar
