Special } : ere God made Adam and Eve, the very first man and woman. He created them with very special bodies. With their eyes, Adam and Eve enjoyed the beauty of nature—all the mountains, hills, rivers, seas, trees, flowers, and everything that God created. They looked around and enjoyed every color God used for His creation. God gave them wonderful eyes to see. God created their bodies with many different parts. Each part was special. Each had a function. With their hands, they touched things soft and hard. Their fingers cuddled the fur of the many animals God gave for them to take care of. With their noses, they smelled the fragrances of the flowers. With their ears, they listened to the chirping of birds. With their mouths, they tasted every food available. And, yes, with their legs, they enjoyed running and walking around the beautiful garden! What wonderful bodies God gave to Adam and Eve! Dear Parents and Guardians, + Your child learned how God made each of us wonderful and amazing. In the Bible, the writer of Psalm praised and thanked God for “He made him in such a wonderful way.” Psalm 139:14a + Tell your child that God didn't just make us with body parts. He gave us a mind to think with and a heart to love with. He makes everything work together. He gives us life so we can walk and breathe and talk to Him. Only a great God like ours could do that! = Lead your child into a prayer thanking God for the wonderful way He made him.
