2. DEFIN ITIO NS
• A ircraft Stru ctural Repair and Damage Chart is a document contains chart and list of damages
andlor repairs at external structure of aircraft. If necessary, Structural Repair and Damage chart can
be split into Damage Chart (or Dent and Buckle Chart) listing only damage, and Repair Chart listing
only repair including existing repair and damage that needs repair for rectification.
• Damage is any discrepancies found in the aircraft structure.
• Repair is the restoration of an aeronautical product to an airworthy condition to ensure that the aircraft
continues to comply with the design aspects of the apprupriate airworthiness requirements used for
the issuance of the type certificate for the respective aircraft type, after it has been damaged or
subjected to wear.
• Dirty Finger Print (DFP) means a set of documents contains any evident of damage or repair
accomplishment during maintenance process. DFP used for Damage Chart including but not limited to
Maintenance Discrepancy & Rectification (MDR), Special Work Order (SWO) and Planning Data
Sheet (PD Sheet), Non Destructive Inspection (ND I) Record, Goods Issue Slip, Maintenance Release
Certificate, Engineering Instruction Sheet (EI S), Engineering Order (EO), Aircraft Structural Damage
Control Sheet (ASDCS) and Type Certificate Holder's Letter. For this Work Instruction purpose, DFP
only refer to damage or repair accomplishment at external structure.
• Structural Reliability Program (SRP) Database is a database recording all damage and repair
conducted on an aircraft.
• SWIFT is a proven pre-configured SAP solution for aircraft maintenance business.
• Internal Technical Document (ITO) is a type of document in SWIFT system which is categorized as
a Non Executable Document.
• Reference (REF) Document is a type of Non Executable Document in SWI FT system which it's
function is to attach references.
• CV01 N is a transaction code in SW IFT system to create document.
• CV02N is a transaction code in SW IFT system to change document.
• ZMTNHIS is a transaction code in SW IFT system to open a maintenance history report.

g. Rectification Status: status of the damage or repair. For damage, status should be within limit or
need inspection in certain interval. For repair should be filled with repair classification. Repair
that has been evaluated and analyzed for damage tolerance capability are classified as
Category A, B and C repairs. Repair that has not been evaluated and analyzed fo r damage
tolerance capability are classified as Permanent, Interim or Time-limited repair. The definition of
Repair classification can be found in Structural Repair Manual (SRM)
h. Remark: additional information
7. The Aircraft Structural Repair and Damage Chart should have single entry for each damage or
repair.
