 Foreword

Praise the author prays to the presence of God Almighty for all the blessings that have
been bestowed upon Him so that in the end the author can finish the paper entitled "
AVENGER : INFINITY WAR" properly. This paper is one of the assignments for the eleventh
grade English subject at SMA Santo Thomas 3 Medan.

The author thanks to various parties for helping in the process of writing this paper. On
this occasion, the author would like to express his deepest gratitude to:

Leo Sartika Pasaribu, S.Pd, M.Pd, as one of the teachers at SMA Santo Thomas 3 Medan
who has taken the time to give directions in the preparation of this paper.

1.1 Who

In the film " AVENGER : INFINITY WAR " has several characters starring

Chapter 2

2.1 Summary
The film Avenger: Infinity War is a continuation of the Thor Ragnarok film
which previously told about the destruction of Asgard. At the beginning of the film, some
of Thanos' troops are shown attacking the spaceship Thor and the Asgardians are on their
way to Earth. Half of the passengers on the spaceship died. Thanos grabbed Thor's head
and said that he only wanted to take one of the Infinity Stones that had been stored in
Asgard. But Thor said that the stone had been destroyed along with the destruction of
Asgard. Then Thor's younger brother Loki handed over the Infinity Stone and said that
we have Hulk. Suddenly, surprisingly Hulk immediately attacked Thanos, after that
Thanos also started to fight back and managed to beat Hulk quickly.

Thanos also managed to get the Infinity Stone and is going to Earth because there
are 2 stones on Earth. Loki pretended to offer himself as a guide to Earth. But his
intentions were known by Thanos first and he died at the hands of Thanos. Heimdal, who
saw this, used the power of the Allfathers or Bifrost to send the Hulk to Earth to report
this to Earth. Because Thanos knew, Heimdal was killed by Thanos. Feeling angry that
his best friend was killed, Thor vowed that he would kill Thanos. Thanos went along with
his troops.

On Earth at Dr. Strange, Strange was chatting with Wong and suddenly
Banner/Hulk fell from the sky and surprised them both. The sober Banner immediately
said that Thanos was coming. Tony Stark, who was exercising in the morning, was
suddenly visited by Strange by opening a portal and inviting Tony to talk. At first Tony
refused, but after Banner came to see him, Tony finally agreed to talk. Banner recounts
the incident with Thor. After that Dr. Strange explained about the Infinity Stone which
was the target of Thanos. Banner also asked Tony to contact Steve/Captain America.
Tony said that he couldn't do that because the Avengers had disbanded. Not long after, a
commotion began to be heard outside.

They rushed out to see how things were. Surprisingly 2 of Thanos' children
arrived on Earth and ordered Strange to hand over the Infinity Stones he had. Because
they don't want one of Thanos' men, who has a large body, moves to attack. Tony told

Banner to get Hulk out but several Banners tried Hulk wouldn't come out and Banner
explained that they had been fighting lately. Tony ordered him to back off and Tony
showed him his newest Iron-Man suit which already uses nano technology which amazed
Banner and managed to beat Thanos' minions back.

Then suddenly, Tony was flown by another of Thanos' men who has the power to
move anything. An annoyed Tony tried to attack again and was hit by the hammer of
Thanos' first minion earlier and sent Tony flying away. Strange also fought with Thanos'
other son and Strange managed to injure him before Strange was bound by one of
Thanos' minions. Tony, who was almost hit by a punch from his opponent, was suddenly
chased away by Spiderman who had just returned from a field trip. Tony ordered Peter to
save Strange who Thanos' men wanted to take away.

Tony finally managed to escape from the attack of Thanos' men after Wong
managed to send Thanos' men to the North Pole using his space portal. Tony finally went
to catch up with Thanos' forces in outer space. Spiderman, who also joined, started to run
out of oxygen because his costume didn't have the ability to store oxygen. Then suddenly
Tony ordered his personal assistant to send his new costume to Spiderman and finally
Tony told Spiderman to come back. Instead of returning, Spiderman even sneaked into
the ship.

The scene changes where Quill and his army of The Guardians Of The Galaxy are
visiting an area in outer space because they are getting an emergency signal and that
place is the location where the people of Asgard and Thor were attacked by Thanos.
Their plane crashes into Thor and puts Thor into their plane because they see Thor who is
still alive. After that they talked with Thor and Thor learned that one of their members
was Thanos' daughter, Gamora, a child he adopted when Thanos carried out the massacre
on the planet where Gamora lived.

Thor also wanted to kill Thanos but he needed a weapon and had to go to
Vanadellir, one of the planets that produces the most powerful weapons in the universe.
Rocket, who didn't think that the planet was real, immediately suggested himself to go
with Thor and at the same time invite Groot and split the plane with Quill. Quill and the

others also left to prevent Thanos from taking the other stones. Finally they split up and
divided into 2 groups.

On Earth, Wanda and Vision are alone in a room and Vision senses that the rock
on his head is signaling him. Wanda and Vision finally plan to go to the Avenger
headquarters. Shortly after arriving at the subway station, Vision was stabbed by the
weapon of Thanos' men and immediately weakened Vision. Wanda who was surprised
immediately attacked the two of Thanos' men while protecting Vision. Due to a shortage
of men and Vision's deteriorating state, Wanda is nearly killed. Shortly thereafter, out of
the darkness, Captain America, Natasha and Falcon came to help. With the strength of
the Team, Thanos' men were successfully beaten back and rushed back to Outer Space.
Captain America and the others rushed to the Avengers Headquarters.

The scene shows Quill and his team arriving at Knowhere where one of the
Infinity Stones is stored. Gamora, who saw Thanos, immediately attacked and succeeded
in injuring Thanos' neck. All of his teammates thought Thanos had died, but they realized
that it was just an illusion made by Thanos who had been waiting for them. Gamora was
shocked and told Quill to kill her. Quill who loves Gamora can't do it. but Gamora forced
Quill to do it. Due to coercion from Gamora, Quill did it and all the bullets Quill fired
turned into bubbles after being changed by Thanos. Thanos felt victorious and left by
taking Gamora to his spaceship.

Captain America and his friends have arrived at the Avengers headquarters and
met with the top officials of the World Protection Agency. After that they met Banner
who had been waiting for them for a long time. Then they all go to Wakanda to ask for
help to remove the stone on Vision's head as well as ask for troops to fight against
Thanos' forces that will soon arrive. Black Panther or the ruler of Wakanda also
welcomed their arrival and gave a fake hand to Bucky who had been exiled to Wakanda
for a long time. Suri, the Black Panther's sister, tried her best to get rid of the stone.

Back to the scene where Tony Stark, who was in outer space trying to save Dr.
Strange, was shocked by the arrival of Spiderman. Tony also asked what he was doing
here and Spiderman said that he wanted to help. Tony let him be and asked him if he had
any ideas for saving Strange. Tony also appeared in front of Thanos' men and fired

missiles at the plane's wall which made a hole in the plane and sucked Thanos' men out
and Spiderman managed to hold Strange from being pulled out and Tony immediately
closed the hole using Ice. Strange also wanted to return to Earth but Tony refused that
they should go to the planet Thanos came from and kill him there. after arguing for quite
a long time they also agreed to follow Tony's way and they rushed.

The scene continues where Gamora, who was previously taken away by Thanos,
has arrived at Thanos' warship. Gamora and Thanos argued for a very long time because
Gamora did not want to tell where one of the Infinity Stones was located, which Gamora
had deliberately hidden. Thanos also showed Gamora's sister, Nebula, who was being
locked up and dismantled. Gamora, who felt sorry for Nebula, finally told the location of
the infinity stone.

The scene changes and shows Thor and Rocket on a plane heading for Vanadellir.
Thor, still angry, tells Rocket about his frustration. Rocket who heard that was touched
and gave Thor his stolen eye while gambling. Thor then thanked and put it on. After that
Thor felt that his eyes were not functioning because all he saw was darkness. Rocket says
it's not his eye's fault but it's indeed the dark Vanadellir. They landed and were suddenly
attacked by Eitri, the only dwarf left alive.

Thor asked why he gave Thanos a gauntlet that could reap the power of the stone.
Eitri told Thor that she thought Thanos would let them live but instead Thanos killed
them all leaving only Eitri. Eitri also asked Thor why Asgard was no longer helping
them. then Thor replied that Asgard had been destroyed and Thor said that he wanted a
weapon that could kill Thanos.

The scene switches to Thanos who is in Vormir, which is the four infinity stones
that Thanos is after. When they got there, the guardian of the stone told Thanos that to get
the stone they had to sacrifice the people they cared about the most. Thanos with tears
dripping from his eyes had to be willing to sacrifice his beloved daughter Gamora.
Finally Thanos managed to get the stone. Thanos returned to his home planet, Titan and
faced Iron-man, Strange, spiderman, and Quill and his friends who had joined. Thanos
told Strange the purpose and goal of collecting the Infinity Stones, namely to balance the

universe. Tony, who had been preparing to attack earlier, tried to take turns attacking
Thanos and finally succeeded in bringing Thanos under their control.

An enraged Quill tries to ask Thanos about Gamora's whereabouts. Nebula, who
arrived at the place, informed that Gamora had been made an offering to get the infinity
stone. An angry Quill attacked Thanos and made Thanos wake up and manage to get
away from them. Tony then dueled Thanos and Tony had to surrender with a knife stuck
in his stomach and Strange gave his Time Stone for Tony's life. Eventually Thanos left
them. Turning to Thor where he had to die because he received all the star energy to
make his weapon to defeat Thanos. Luckily the weapon was ready on time.

Meanwhile on Earth, in Wakanda to be precise, the war has started and the
remaining Avengers are starting to get overwhelmed in the face of the enemy. Suddenly
Thor came with enormous power which was able to create fierce resistance between the
two camps. Vision, who was in Suri's room, had to be injured again by Thanos' men after
not receiving protection from Wanda. In the midst of panic, Captain America had to help
Vision and managed to kill Thanos' men. Wanda came over to Vision and Vision said to
break the Stone immediately because Thanos was already there. Wanda began the
process of breaking the stone in Vision's head, even though she was sad to see someone
she loved die. Thanos arrived and they tried to stop him but nothing worked. Wanda
manages to crack the Vision Stone before Thanos can get to it.

Thanos, who already has the Time Stone, uses his power to restore Vision and
manages to get all six of the Infinity Stones. After that Thor immediately attacked Thanos
and managed to hit Thanos in the chest and Thor told him that he would definitely keep
his promise. Thanos then replied that to kill him Thor would have to strike him in the
head. Instantly Thanos snapped his fingers and half of the population in the entire
universe instantly disappeared into dust. The film ends and shows where Thanos rests on
an uninhabited planet.

3.1 Conclusion

From this film we can learn that teamwork is the best collaboration. We have to
help each other selflessly. And this film still has a continuation, namely Avenger: End
Game and those are my words. If there are mistakes in choosing words or writing I
apologize.
