A. Download Power Bi Desktop Installation file.


Power Bi Desktop can be downloaded from
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=58494

Click on DOWNLOAD button to download the latest version of Power Bi Desktop. You can
download the 64 bit version (preferred) or the 32 bit version (if your OS is configured for the
32 bit mode).

Select PBIDesktopSetup_x64.exe (for the 64 bit OS version) in the download options and
click Next.
PowerBi Desktop download starts and the installer gets downloaded into the default
downloads folder (or in an alternate folder if specified otherwise).

Save the PBIDesktopSetup_x64.exe installation file on your local system.

B. Launch installer to Install PowerBi Desktop:


Right click on the downloaded installation file and Run As Administrator to launch the
installer.
Power Bi installs Version: 2.96.701.0 64-bit (Aug, 2021) [the version at the time of writing
this document].
Upon successful installation, Power BI Desktop will create a shortcut on your desktop and
may automatically launch an instance of Power Bi Desktop that will display the welcome
screen / home screen!
