OALS Summary

This story is about two people, Sinagtala and Franco, who fall in love but are unable to be together due to their differing beliefs and backgrounds. They are reincarnated several times through history in different eras and cultures, but each time they fall in love they meet with misfortune. In their final reincarnation as Aleeza and Nathan, they realize their love is doomed due to forces beyond their control. They decide to let each other go and find serenity in accepting their fate rather than repeating the pain of the past.

This is a story of two people who wanted to be together several times but fate kept

them apart. Their love can be resemble to an asymptote that no matter how hard you
try to meet two different lines, it will still end up diverging from each other.

This story begins with a babaylan named Sinagtala and a Spanish missionary named
Franco. They fell in love with each other but their love is not supported by humanity
and fate because they are both bound to serve their own god and belief.

But they insisted on their desire to love, they ended up in the misfortune that caused
their death. And later they came back to life with thirst and greed for their reunion and
love.

They came back to life in the person of Salome and Fidel. Salome is a beauty who has
royal and Chinese blood, races that the Spaniards hunted to kill for fear that they
would take back the Philippines from their wanderings. Fidel, on the other hand, has
Spanish blood and is destined to be baptized and to become a servant of a church.

They fell in love again, but due to problems and obstacles they still ended up in
misfortune.

They were resurrected again in the person of Esmeralda and Rolando.


Just like their previous story, the past happened again, they fell in love with each
other and still ended up in misfortune.

But their life does not end there, because they have been resurrected in the modern
generation, as Aleeza and Nathan, still carrying in their hearts the thirst for their
reunion and love.

But only this time, they found out early about the incident in their past. They learned
earlier that no matter how hard they try, no matter what battle they fight, no matter
what they do, they will never be able to control their destiny.

Despite the fact that it wounded their feelings, they decided to quit repeating their
foolishness and let go of the past.

They both know, that their lines will never meet because they are an asymptote that
will never reach and they knew that from the beginning.

So in order not to repeat the suffering and pain they feel, they both let go of each
other and decided to continue life and be glad that they have a chance to live, having
experienced their love.

That's the story based on the reincarnation of two people with different lines, who got
closer, but in the end they still drift apart. The love story called "ASYMPTOTA".

This story tells us that for you/us to attain serenity and contentment, you must let go
of painful memories from your past. Don't be greedy, and learn to accept the negative
aspects of your life. Learn to let go if something is truly not for you. Don't let sadness
rule you; instead, learn to move on because you cannot get back the things you've left
behind., especially from the beginning, you no longer own them.
