Cutting and Piecing Instructions Block A -- cutting and piecing directions are for 1 block. Cut 1 Rectangle A -- 2.5 x 10.5 Cut 2 Rectangle B -- 3.5 x 10.5 Cut 2 Rectangle C 2.5 x 8.5 Sew each Rectangle B to both long sides of Rectangle A as shown: Sew one Rectangle C to the top and one to the bottom of the A/B unit as shown:

Make 6 of Block A with the following fabrics: First Block A: cut Rectangle A from RB08 Blue & Rectangles B and C from S72 Rocket Blue Second Block A: cut Rectangle A from RB06 Orange & Rectangles B and C from RB02 Teal Third Block A: cut Rectangle A from S72 Rocket Blue & Rectangles B and C from RB03 Orange Fourth Block A: cut Rectangle A from RB03 Green & Rectangles B and C from RB06 Blue Fifth Block A: cut Rectangle A from S60 Red Plum & Rectangles B and C from RB04 Teal Sixth Block A: cut Rectangle A from RB08 Orange & Rectangles B and C from RB01 Teal Block B -- cutting and piecing directions are for 1 block. Cut 1 Rectangle A -- 8.5 x 7.5 Cut 4 Square B -- 2.5 x 2.5 Place a Square B on one corner of the Rectangle A as shown, right sides together. Stitch diagonally across the B Square as shown:

Trim away the outside corner of this section as shown:

Then fold Square B back over the seam and press as shown:

Repeat this with 3 more Square Bs on the remaining corners of Rectangle A as shown:

Block G cut 24 Block Gs 3.5 x 6.5 Cut 2 from RB01 Teal Cut 1 from RB01 Orange Cut 1 from RB02 Plum Cut 1 from RB02 Teal Cut 2 from RB03 Blue Cut 2 from RB03 Orange Cut 2 from RB04 Teal Cut 1 from RB04 Orange Cut 2 from RB05 Blue Cut 2 from RB05 Tango Cut 2 from RB06 Blue Cut 1 from RB06 Orange Cut 2 from RB08 Teal Cut 1 from RB08 Blue Cut 2 from RB08 Orange Stripe H -- cut two 2.5 strips from S84 Jade and sew together end-to-end (you will trim it down later). Putting it all together Now the fun begins putting the blocks all together. Start by sewing the A, B, and C blocks together as shown, making 6 ABC units:

Next sew 3 D blocks and 2 E Blocks in a row as shown making 6 DE units:

Next sew 4 G Blocks and 2 F Blocks together as shown making 6 FG units:

Next you are going to sew these units together into 6 units that include one of each these units you just created. I have laid it out for you here how I put it together, but trust me, this can go many ways and it will be alright. Really it will. The way this one ended up is not exactly as I planned, but I actually like this better than my original plan, so dont feel it has to look EXACTLY like this one. Be your own person!

1. First you sew the DE units to the FG units referring to the diagram and picture for color and block placement. 2. Then you sew the DEFG units to the ABC units again referring to the diagram below and the picture.

3. Then sew the ABCDEFG units together in rows as indicated in the diagram with your Stripe H separating the 4th and 5th unit. Trim off the ends of Stripe H when you are done adding the 5th and 6th row. Quilt the top and then bind it with your favorite method using S84 Jade. Dont forget to include a label!!
