The FOSSEE (Free and Open Source Software for Education) project, at IIT Bombay, promotes usage of
Free and Open Source Software (FOSS) tools for education. It offers training and development of software.
This training is used by educational institutions and corporations, within and outside India. One such software
OpenFOAM. Itis a FOSS for Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD). Itis used in the fields of Mechanical,
Chemical, Metallurgical and Aerospace Engineering. The FOSSEE Project is also'developing a GUI for the
OpenFOAM software, to make it user friendly.
The FOSSEE Project, IIT Bombay, offers job opportunities to the students of your institution,
Graduates and former graduates of your institution may join the OpenFOAM team of FOSSEE, IT Bombay,
as full-time employees., !

The candidates who work with us as fulltime employees enjoy a number of benefits, such as pursuing higher
studies within or outside IIT Bombay, taking part in research activities under the guidance of faculty members
