ACTIVITY PROPOSAL
TITLE: BRIGADA ESKWELA 2022
PARTICIPANTS: MES Administration, Faculty and Staff, Parents,
Stakeholders, LGU, Barangay Officials and
Functionaries, and Students.
VENUE: Masicampo Elementary School

I. Rationale:
The 2022 Brigada Eskwela Program will highlight the country's collective
efforts from various partnership engagements in the local and national level to
address learning gaps and social issues. These engagements shall create a safe
learning environment for the learners, teaching and nonteaching personnel, and
community for the achievement of quality basic education. This yearly activity is
anchored on DepEd Order No. 24, series of 2008 which is also known as the
National Schools Maintenance Week (NSMW).
The Department of Education issues DepEd Memorandum No. 62, s. 2022 or
the 2022 Brigada Eskwela Implementing Guidelines. With the theme, “Brigada
Eskwela: Tugon sa Hamon ng Ligtas na Balik-Aral,”
Imbued by the Filipino spirit of Bayanihan or volunteerism, this month-long
activity aims to encourage parents, LGUs, NGOs, local community partners and
stakeholders to get involved in the preparation of the school by donating learning
materials and equipment that would be helpful in the implementation of Limited Face

to Face learning for School Year 2022 – 2023 and onward. It also encourages
volunteers and stakeholders to share their resources to address learning gaps and
social issues.
Brigada Eskwela has been a great avenue for people from the community to
collaborate efforts and to get involved to all the endeavour of the government in
achieving quality education in the new normal.
II. Objectives
A. To ensure that the school facilities are prepared and ready for the school
opening amidst the health crisis;
B. To strengthen stakeholders’ participation as co-owner of the school; and
C. To bring the spirit of education and Bayanihan to the community.
III. Strategies and Methodology
Below are the steps to be undertaken for the realization of this year’s Brigada
Eskwela objectives:
1. Organize a Steering Committee for Brigada Eskwela.
2. Assess physical facilities and maintenance needs of the school.
3. Conduct information drive.
4. Determine the resources needed, partners to be tapped, and volunteers to
participate.
5. Prepare and submit the final accomplishment report.

At the end of the Brigada Eskwela 2022, 80% of the 100% of the physical
facility development and beautification will have been manifested, 80% of the
volunteer parents and guardians from Kinder to Grade 6 have participated in the
activity, 80% from the invited stakeholders have involved in the activities and have
donated in kind for the improvement of the school.
VI. Budgetary Requirement
Tarpaulin (4X6) bond paper for reporting (Long size), Pen, Brown Folder,
special paper for certificates food and other incidental expenses.

VII. Assessment
The Brigada Eskwela 2022 participated by the Administration, teaching and
non-teaching, stakeholders, parents, guardians and students of Masicampo
Elementary School will be conducted satisfactorily. Evaluation sheets will be given
analyzed to determine whether or not the objectives of the activity are achieved.
