Tree in A Bottle

This crochet pattern provides instructions for making a tiny terrarium scene inside a small bottle. The scene includes a tree and grass. The tree is crocheted in back loops only using single crochet stitches and stuffed with fiberfill. A toothpick is inserted into the tree for support. The grass is crocheted in rows starting with magic loop and increasing stitches to add texture. Glue is used to adhere the tree and grass inside the bottle to complete the miniature landscape display.

Tiny terrarium crochet pattern Materials: Crochet hook 1,0mm Crochet thread Needle Bottle approx.

4x2cm Craft glue Toothpick or some kind of small wooden stick Brown marker Q-tip and tweezers Tree: The entire tree is crocheted in back loops only Row 1: magic loop, sc 5 in loop (5) Row 2: *2 sc, sc in next* repeat end with 2 sc in last(8) Row 3: *2 sc, sc in next* repeat (12) Row 4: sc around (12) Row 5: sc around (12) Cut of your yarn and stuff the tail inside the tree to give it a little shape. Now take your toothpick and color it brown with your marker to make it look like dark wood. Cut of a piece that wil fit your tree, now insert the stick, sharp point first, all the way into the tree . Grass: Row 1: magic loop, sc 6 in loop, join (6) Row 2: 2sc in every sc (12) Row 3:*dc cluster, 2dc in next* 3 times, hdc, sc in next, finish off, this is not a complete round, but you can continue this way if your bottle is larger . To put the scene together I start with applying strong glue with a q-tip to the bottom of the bottle, then I inserted the grass piece and pressed it down on the bottom till it sticked. Now put a little bit of glue on the bottom of the trunk, the easiest way to get the tree in the bottle is to put it between a pair of tweezers and stick it in, this way you can add pressure on the part that needs to be glued. Now to finish it off, I glued the cap to the bottle, this way you can ad an eyelet to make a necklace or keychain out of it.
