ARTICLE WRITING GUIDELINES


1. Layout

Title Times New Roman, bold, italics, 16 pt

Subheading Times New Roman, bold, italics, 12 pt

Text Times New Roman, 11,5 pt


2,5 cm top ; 2 cm left, right, bottom
Page margins
Text = 1,5 ; Note= 1
Line spacing
Times New Roman, 10 pt.
Footnotes
Number the footnotes, mentioning the author of the source and the title of the
article (not the whole website)
Article title: center alignment
Alignment
Subtitle: justified
Body of text: justified

2. Structure of the text

Character count Min 3500, max 15000, with spaces


Full stop ( . ) at the end of a sentence. Semicolon ( ; ) in the bulleted list.
Punctuation Marks
Use the bullet ( • ) for the bulleted list.

Use the quotation marks “…”.

Always close parentheses.

Acronym With the exception of cases where the acronym is better known than the full
name (e.g. UN, OECD), it should only be used after being mentioned the first
time in brackets, after the full name.

Words and phrases in a foreign language Italics, except for those in common use
To give emphasis Italics
example: 100 mln EUR, more specifically RON, EUR, USD.
Currencies and numerical amounts
Use the comma as decimal separator (2,5) and not (2.5).

Laws, decrees, ordinances and the Use this format: Law No. 232/2020
equivalent
Dates Use this format: gg/MM/aaaa

Figures and Tables Maximum 2/3 images per article including photographs and/or graphics, with
caption.
Images in High Definition.

Insert job title, next to the author's name.


The disclaimer is not necessary as there is only one for the whole magazine, here below.
The article must be provided in at least two languages (article in native language + ita/ro/ing) and with
attached HD images linked to the content of the article.
