Course Description
This course is the study of people at work in all kinds of organizations and how they may be
motivated to work together more productively. This subject is called organizational behavior, human
relations, or human behavior at work, and it is an integration of social sciences as they affect people at
work. One of the most notable features of this course is its careful blending of theory with practice, so
that basic theories come to life in a realistic context. Students will learn the concepts and models and
will apply the learning in the real world and will help to build better organizations and a better society.
The ideas and skills they learn in an organizational behavior course can help them cope better with
life.
