growth the development of young children. Each student is required to observe one child’s
activities to better understand his or her growth. You are receiving this form as your child has
been selected for this assignment.
We take issues of confidentiality very seriously. Students have been specifically instructed to delete any
names of centers, teachers, or children from their observation reports and to avoid discussing any part of
their observations outside of class.
Confidentiality Statement
Information pertaining to any child, parent or employee learned at an observation, or site visit
is confidential. Children, parents and employees have a right to confidentiality and that right
must be protected. Experiences and information shared for learning purposes within the
College classroom with the instructor and other student’s will be done with respect to
confidentiality per the professional code of conduct.
