BACKGROUND

My passion is sports, plain and simple. Athletics have always been a large part of my life and they have really helped me become the person I am today. As for working in sports, this has always been my dream. For as long as I can remember, my ultimate career goal has been to become a vital part of a sports organization in some way, shape or form. Georgia State University Facilities & Operations Assistant

(May 2011- June 2011)

Volunteered three days a week with John Portland, Assistant Athletic Director of Facilities, Operations, and Events. Spearheaded research for future sports arena projects, including scheduling meetings with other urban universities to discuss specifications of current stadiums that GSU can emulate. Negotiated contracts with Office Plant Specialists to add shrubbery and plants to the arena. Researched various improvement projects, including recessed trophy cases and new, energy efficient lighting for the Georgia State Sports Arena. Managed facilities projects, one of which included gathering square footage of all office space and rooms throughout the arena that will be used for painting projects and any other needed facilities upkeep.

Clemson Athletic Department (January 2010-Dec. 2010) Operations & Promotions Coordinator
Managed in-game promotions and special events. Distribution of primary marketing material, including a pocket calendar showing athletics schedule. Coordinated logistics, resources, and talent for all pre-game ceremonies including first-pitch and presentation of color ceremonies. Operated video board and scoreboard during Clemson University baseball games, men and womens tennis matches and soccer matches for both the men and womens soccer teams. Filled ball boy duties at Clemson University soccer matches for the men and womens soccer teams.

D.C. United (May 2010-Aug. 2010) Equipment Manager Intern Assisted with the daily set-up and maintenance of player gear. Planned and coordinated resources for team road trips for 18 players and 7
staff members. Oversaw use of practice and game balls each day. Helped plan and coordinate summer equipment sales, which served as promotional and community outreach to the public and sports community.

Ansley Golf Club (April 2007-Dec. 2007) Customer Experience Assistant Greeted and responded to customer needs as golfers arrived. Oversaw golf carts and requested maintenance when needed. Maintained and supervised activities on the driving range, which included

scholarships. ITPAY creates partnerships with college students and Clemson Athletics enthusiasts to fundraise for the athletics department.
