ii. Self-regulation enables to develop the idea about ‘what is appropriate behaviour and ‘what is inappropriate
behaviour in a given social condition.
iii. It helps in controlling negative impulses and reciprocate emotions for actualising set goals.
8. Autocorrect is an automatic data validation function commonly found in word processors and text editing interfaces.
9. The entrepreneurs provide an important contribution in implementing government policies and achieving national goals.
They cooperate with the government for the implementation of development plans of the country.
10. The functions of an entrepreneur are as follows:
i. Organisation and Management: An entrepreneur organises and manages various economic and human factors
through planning, coordination, control, supervision and direction.

ii. Size and Scale of Business Unit: An entrepreneur has to decide about the size of business unit as he wants to

iii. Factors of Production: Another important function of an entrepreneur is the factors of production i.e. land, labour,
capital, etc., should be in right proportion and to maximise output of these factors is the responsibility of the
entrepreneur.

11. i. Header is a section of the document that appears at the top margin of every page.
ii. Yes, we can insert date or time into a header.
12. Steps to insert date/time into header or footer are as follows:
i. On the Design tab, in the Insert group, click the Date & Time option.
ii. Select date and time format from the Date and Time dialog box.
iii. Click OK button.
Now, Date/Time will appear in the document.
13. i. Select the row 3, on the Home tab in the Cells group, click the Format option. Select Hide & Unhide and then Hide
Rows. The row 3 will be hidden. Similarly, select the column D, on the Home tab in the cells group, click the Format
option. Select Hide & Unhide and then Hide Columns. The column D will be hidden.
ii. Select the row 3, click the Freeze Panes option in the Window group of View tab. Click on the Freeze Panes option.
All rows above the row 3 will be frozen and a horizontal line will appear to indicate the freezing is done.
14. Relationship between primary key and foreign key: A foreign key is a column or set of columns in one table that
references the primary key columns in another table. Difference between primary key and foreign key: Primary key can’t
accept null values whereas foreign key can accept multiple null values.
15. Data integrity is the overall completeness, accuracy and consistency of data. This can be indicated by the absence of
alteration between two instances or between two updates of a data record, meaning data is intact and unchanged.
Data integrity is usually imposed during the database design phase through the use of standard procedures and rules. It is
maintained through the use of various error-checking methods and validation procedures.
16. Differences between star topology and bus topology are as follows:

18. Conditional formatting is one of the most simple powerful feature in excel spreadsheets. You can use conditional
formatting when you want to highlight cells that meet a specified condition. Conditional formatting in excel can be used
to identify duplicates in a datasheet.
i. Select the dataset in which you want to highlight duplicates.
ii. Go to Home tab → Conditional Formatting → Highlight Cells Rules → Duplicate Values.

iii. Duplicate values dialog box will appear in the Duplicate Values dialog box, make sure duplicate is selected in the left
drop-down. You can specify the format to be applied by using the right drop-down. There are some existing formats
that you can use, or specify your own format using the Custom Format option.
