Integrity Engineer
Role:
Participate in all inspection and integrity management activities to meet plant equipment’s
integrity and availability requirements for safe and continued operation. Set up inspection
activities based on Risk Based Inspection (RBI) methodology to enhance integrity and
availability, optimize inspection frequencies, and enhance maintenance cost and plant
availability.
Main Responsibilities:
• Ensure compliance of integrity management system and activities with all statutory
requirements, regulations and applicable codes and standards.
• Liaise with third parties to carry out inspection activities related to vessel
certification/classification.
• Develop inspection strategies and programmes to address assets’ failure
mechanisms and corrosion threats in compliance with relevant Codes and
Standards.
• Development of a risk-based inspection programs for static equipment’s, piping
systems and PSV’s.
• Execution of RBI inspection program for stationary equipment, piping systems and
PSV’s.
• Analyse inspection data and map out areas of deterioration on static equipment,
piping system and PSV’s.
• Identify areas of concerns; prepare dedicated inspection/repair procedures; and
follow-up their implementation to improve plant integrity.
• Conduct proactive follow up for the closeouts of the inspection findings to ensure
compliance.

Integrity Engineer
• Participate to the development and execution of inspection programs for lifting
equipment’s.
• Development and execution of painting inspection program.
• Development and execution of inspection programs for flexible hoses.
• Development and execution of NDT inspection plans for repair works and
modifications.
• Participate in investigating static equipment/piping/PSV’s failures to establish
corrective actions and hence prevent recurrences.
• Issue technical recommendations on repair techniques, inspection and testing
requirements.
• Participate in preparation of Capital and Operating budgets for Mechanical Integrity
Discipline. Monitor and reconcile capital and operating expenditure against planned
budget and redress any variances to ensure effective cost control.
• Participate in the development of inspection services contracts and monitor
contractors' performance and quality of services to ensure compliance with
contractual obligations.
Qualifications and Experience:
• Mechanical Engineering degree.
• 10 years in Gas or Petrochemicals Industries.
• LNG operations experience is preferred.
• Certified in as many as possible of the following areas:
o Pressure Vessel in service inspection per API 510.
o Piping in service inspection per API 570.
o Risk Based Inspection per API 580.
o Corrosion and Material per API 571.

o Welding per CWI or CSWIP.
o Corrosion, painting and coating per NACE or BGAS- CSWIP.
o NDE, min Level 2 certification as per ASNT or equivalent in PT, RT, UT, MT,
Eddy current, thermography.
Competencies:
• Familiar with computerized inspection data management systems.
• Comprehensive knowledge of on-stream and off stream inspection techniques,
specifications, and codes of practice for the inspection of in service oil and gas related
equipment such as piping, pressure vessels, columns, heat exchangers, offshore
structures.
• Knowledge of corrosion mechanisms and Asset Integrity Program.
• Experience in Risk Assessment techniques.
• Produce technical engineering reports and studies.
• Fluent knowledge of English.
Workplace:
Mozambique Offshore.
