Zero Level Data Flow Diagram

A zero level data flow diagram (0 Level DFD) provides a simple overview of the system as a whole, showing external entities that interact with it and the types of data exchanged at a high level. A first level data flow diagram (1st Level DFD) breaks the system down further, showing the major processes and how data flows between them. A second level data flow diagram (2nd Level DFD) breaks down the processes in more detail, showing the individual steps and data flows within each major process.
