Paraphrasing tools) and so forth
VI. COURSE DESCRIPTION:
 Translation Technologies course is designed in the fifth semester of the curriculum of English Education. As understood from its name, the
Translation Technologies course aims to introduce the theoretical and practical aspects of translation technology. By means of real translation
project assignments, the course attempts to give students hands-on experience of the tools used during the translation process. As a common
basis for the elaboration of language syllabuses, this course refers to CEFR B1+ level which enable students to perform oral translation (into
Language B) of texts (written in Language A) containing information and arguments on subjects within their fields of professional, academic
and personal interest, provided they are written in uncomplicated, standard language.

Evaluation Criteria: 1. Assessment uses Norma Reference Assessment, namely an assessment based on competency
achievement by referring to the average achievement of the study group/class;
2. Attendance of at least 80% (to be able to take the exam)

mastery of the material without being accompanied by additional relevant sources/knowledge;
- 40-59: actively involved in Class activities and make a sufficient contribution to Learning; demonstrate
sufficient understanding of material;
- 20-39: not actively involved in class activities and does not make a positive contribution to learning; show
weak mastery of the material;
- 0-19: not actively involved and does not show effort in mastering the material/minimum competence.
