9. A concrete beam was tested to evaluate the depth of a transverse surface crack (indirect transmission). The emitter transducer was fixed in a location and the receiver transducer was moved along the length of the beam. The recorded readings are as follows: Distance from emitter (mm) | 250 | 400 | 650 [900 [1200 | 1500 [1800 | 2000 [2250 _] [ransient time (u sec [61_[9s_|1ss|225|339 [413 [487 [536 _|585_| Given that the crack axis could be located at 1000 mm from the location of the emitter transducer, Calculate: The crack depth + Average ultrasonic pulse velocity in the concrete and evaluate its quality. 10. The loading test was conducted on a slab of dimensions 5.8m x 8.4 m x 20 cm, the measured deflection after 24 hours of applying the full load = 9.4 mm & the deflection after 24 hours of removing the load = 1.8 mm. Comment on acceptance of test results according to Egyptian code. 11. Loading Test a. When the loading test is carried out? b. What is the value of the test load? c. What is the used equipment? d.
