TYPES OF SEMICONDUCTOR COMPANIES
INTEL
The cloud business continues to grow, powered by rapidly expanding high- volume
demand, and Intel expanded production of 10nm processors in the second quarter and
plans to mass produce 7nm products in the first half of 2023.
Mobile, automotive, and healthcare will undergo a radical architectural
transformation in the coming years as 5G evolves and artificial intelligence
becomes prevalent. Chipmakers will benefit from this.
Working from home as well as learning at home seems to have become habitual,
and the transition to 5G products such as cell phones will give Intel a tailwind.
INTEL
AMD and other strong rivals for Intel continues to put pressure. While Intel is
facing 7nm manufacturing difficulties, AMD has taken the lead in announcing that
it will soon launch servers based on 5nm products
While the expansion of 10nm production and the weakening of price pressure will
bring short-term improvement, in the long run we fear that Intel will continue to
lose market share.
As the economy recovered, orders surged, but the production process for
semiconductor chips is particularly complex, with a standard delivery cycle of 26
weeks. In addition, sanctions imposed by the U.S. and Chinese governments on
sales of chips to each other played a role

THREAT OF SUBSTITUTES
mainly focusing on manufacturing electronic components, which are made of
semiconductor materials like silicon. These components can be soldered onto printed
circuit boards in order to create electronic circuits.
Currently, we do not have any substitutes for these semiconductor chips.

NOT SOLD TO INDIVIDUAL CLIENTS
It’s mainly aiming at original equipment manufacturers (OEM) and original design
manufacturers (ODM). Customers have high bargaining power because of the large
purchase volume.
BARGAINING POWER OF SUPPLIERS
LOW AS OF NOW LIKELY TO BE SAME IN FUTURE
The semiconductor supplier market is leading by a small number of major players
and followed by plenty of minor ones. As some suppliers may primarily focus on
conducting business with a specific firm
SO THE POWER IS LOW AND WOULD BE SAME IN FUTURE.
