• Prepared root samples from the refuges salt marsh which were planted in different variables of substrate and soils for
research toward effective growth and stability against erosion.
• Built a breakwater alongside an eroding impoundment berm.
• Both projects I assisted with were alongside refuge wildlife biologists and worked towards advancing their research in
limiting erosion at the refuge.
