SUBJECT : Spot Report re Shooting Incident

DATE : March 16, 2023

1. On or about March 16 2023 around 6:20 PM, a shooting incident transpired in


front of Visayan Village Central Elementary School located in Tagum City,
National Highway. The victim has identified as one Juan Dela Cruz, 23 years
old, single, a college student of University of Mindanao and a resident of San
Miguel, Tagum City, Davao del Norte.

2. Initial Investigation revealed that the victim was walking along the national
highway when a lone identified gunman a board a Honda Beat 110, color
black, of unknown plate number suddenly stopped and shot the victim four
times in the torso. The identified suspect fled northward towards jurisdiction,
Tagum thereafter.

3. The victim Juan Dela Cruz who sustained multiple gunshot wounds was
rushed to Medical Mission hospital but was declared dead up on arrival.

4. The motive behind the incident is still unknown.
