DRUG BROCHURE PROJECT

1. You will choose one drug to research legal or illegal.

2. You are to create a consumer friendly brochure that meets the following requirements:

a. It must have 6 complete panels; 3 on the front, 3 on the back.

b. It must be aesthetically pleasing! (Neat, pictures, various fonts, color.)

c. Make it clear and concise. To the point and informational!

d. It must contain accurate information taken from reliable sources.

e. at least 3-5 graphics.

f. project should be free of spelling errors; sentences are complete.

ASSIGNMENT: The following information must be included:


1. Name of the drug? (including any or all of the street names for this drug and the category it
is included in. (stimulant, depressant, hallucinogen, narcotic)

2. What are the consequences of using this drug?


a. Socially
b. Physically (short term and long term)
c. Mentally/Emotionally
d. Legally

3. What is the drug’s origin? (When was is discovered/created and how?)

4. Where is it found (synthetic, natural, etc..)? Forms of drug (pill, powder, flower, etc..)?

5. Who is the target crowd?

6. What are the warning signs of drug abuse with this drug
7. Include at least 2 staggering facts about this drug.

8. List two sources where someone could go for help or HOTLINES for help.

9. You must include a works cited page and list the Resources (at least 3) you used to
access your information in MLA format. Note: it should be in small print on back of
brochure and you may use a citation builder)
