INTRODUCTION
Food safety is the important things to describe food handling, preparation, and the storage of the foods
in ways that foodborne illness. Food can be transmitted from a person to a person as well as servers as
the growth medium of the bacteria that can cause of the food poisoning. Some things can be contributed
to foodborne illness are improper hand washing, cross-contamination, storage of the food, cooking
temperature. Sometimes food poisoning can cause serious illness and even death.
REACTION TO THE VIDEO CLIP
My reaction to this video that Jimmy didn’t follow the proper preparation of food safety that can cause
illness to the people who it eats. This process of food safety can lead to those consuming the food to
become severely ill. This food isn’t handled, it can become spoiled with the germs. You won’t always be
able to tell from the smell and taste. These germs can cause stomach aches, diarrhea, or vomiting. That
is why it is critical to ensure proper food handling to prevent any cross-contamination.
RECOMMENDATION
My recommendation to this video that to make sure that always wash your hand with warm water and
soap before preparing foods and after handling raw meat, poultry, fish or egg. Use separate cutting
boards for meat and produce separate plates and utensils for cooked and raw foods. Keep your kitchen
surfaces clean and wash your hands often to help prevent the spread of bacteria. Bacteria could spread
to someone else if they use a contaminated dish towel, so use paper towel and change dish towel
regularly. And follow the food safety the CLEAN, SEPARATE, COOK, CHILL. To avoid cross-
contamination.
