I. Objectives
At the end of the lesson the students are expected to:
a) recognize and identify the letters "S" and "T".
b) learn the sounds that correspond to the letters "S" and "T"
c) learn basic vocabulary words that start with the letters "S" and "T".

III. PROCEDURE
A. Review
Review previously taught letters and sounds to build upon prior knowledge.
Use flashcards or a letter recognition game to help students identify the letters "S" and
"T".
B. Motivation
Show the students a picture with a word that starts with the letter "S", ask them to say
the word and the sound associated with the letter "S".
Repeat the process with a picture with a word that starts with the letter "T"
Provide visual aids, such as pictures or flashcards, to help students remember the words
and sounds associated with the letters.
C. Activities
Show the students a flashcard with the letter "S" and ask them to say the sound that it
makes.
Repeat the process with a flashcard with the letter "T".
Continue showing the students different flashcards, alternating between "S" and "T",
until they have correctly identified and said the sounds for all of the flashcards.
D. Abstraction
The teacher will encourage students to think of other words that start with these letters.
E. Application
The teacher let the students create their own "S" and "T" drawing with objects or
animals that start with those letters and write sentences about them.
IV. Assessment
The students will identify the beginning sound of the picture cards and match them with
the corresponding letter.
