1. Discuss briefly the causes, and consequences of climate change and how can we respond
to the changing climate in the context of Ethiopia? (2%)
2. Discuss in detail about the population characteristics of the Ethiopia. Your discussion
needs to emphasis on fertility, mortality, age, dependency ratio and trend of the country’s
population (4%).
3. Discuss manufacturing industries in Ethiopia focusing on the spatial distribution and
major challenges (3%).
4. Discuss the types, challenges, and prospects of major tourist attraction sites in Ethiopia
(3%).
5. Elaborate major soil types, their distributional pattern and major soil conservation
measures best recommended to be practiced under different agroecological zones of
Ethiopia (3%).
6. Explain the trade and transport sectors in Ethiopia with its challenges and prospects (3%).
7. Shortly explain the contributions, potentials, and challenges of Ethiopia’s agricultural
system (3%).
