Tier III , Pay Less than 3L p.a Tier II , Pay 3 to around 5.5L p.a also known as Dreams Tier I, Pay above 5.5L p.a also known as Super Dreams
How does this dream & super dream rule goes.!!??
All Core companies are Tier II companies irrespective of their pays. People selected in Core Companies are eligible to apply to Super Dreams only. Other people (non core ) get to follow the normal tier rule.
Number of chances
This year initially we were given 5 chances for dreams & super dreams. Later it was extended to 8, because there were no people left. There are always ample opportunities present for everyone, just wait for your day.
General Selection Process

Group Exercise / Group Discussion (Optional) Personal Interview

General Aptitude Test. a. Quantitative Ability b. Verbal Ability (optional) Questions Related to C, C++ Programming Exercises Writing an Algorithm
Group Exercise / Discussion
Some of the companies conduct Group discussions to assess the public communication skills of the person. Some Companies use this as an elimination round. Some Companies make it a different kind of Group Exercise, where people sit together and discuss a given scenario and come to a general conclusion
Personal Interview
Technical Interview a. some may be completely technical b. some may involve more puzzles. c. mixture of puzzles and technical HR Interview
Most of the times you are through to this round, you are almost selected.
How to Crack Written Test
Be well prepared with the quant stuff. a. CAT preparation definitely helps

Group Discussion
Dont ever sit quiet in Group Discussion Dont be reserved. Putting forth your ideas to others is always important in corporate world, so they want you to speak out. Dont be over- energetic
Personal Interview
Good understanding of the businesses of the company helps a lot. Be confident. But dont cross the line of confidence. Let the interviewer know that you have a lot of passion to work for the company. Speak loud and clear. If you dont know the answer, dont try to bluff.
Personal Interview (Contd)
Answer the questions logically. Interviewers dont mind wrong answers, if you go about answering the question in a logical way. Dont sit DUMB , when you are given a chance to ask questions Be Well prepared for the standard questions.
HR Interview
Show Genuine Passion for the company Dont ever dare to mention about higher studies. Its like making a self-goal. When given a chance to ask questions, grab that chance to show your interest in the company. Dont ever ask questions about salary hikes, location preferences, how fast can I grow..? And crap like that.
Project Work
Doing quality project work with a computer application always helps in the interview.
This is a compulsory question asked in the interviews. Here is a chance to impress the interviewer with the thing you know.
Word Of Caution
Dont feel disappointed with anything that happens during the campus. If u get selected feel happy and celebrate. If u dont get selected, still feel happy, because there might be another great company awaiting you. Everyone is going to be selected in their dream company

Getting a job is a great achievement, but getting an admission for a higher study is a greater achievement. If you have a chance always plan for higher studies. A Masters Degree adds a lot of value. Dont get satisfied with the kind of jobs you get here, higher studies adds a lot of value for your career. It is the main difference between IITs and NITs. 40 50 % of people in IITs go for higher studies despite the kind of jobs they get.
