Rationale:
This event will serve as a platform by showing them the wit and talents of the
students in the College of Business Administration. Every major will have their own
representatives and will showcase the talents they have by showing its preparedness for
the event. The aim of this event is to identify who will be the next face of the College of
Business Administration on the upcoming NORSU Foundation Day.
Objective:
To develop outstanding young people who can serve as role models in our
institutions of higher learning by championing Beauty, Modesty, and a Culture of
Virtuousness.
Venue: Negros Oriental State University Bais City Campus 2 (Optional: Campus 1)
Guidelines:
1. The candidates must be enrolled in NORSU Bais for the school year 2022 – 2023
2. All participants must be CBA students and bona fide members of NORSU Bais
3. The candidates of each major must have a passing grade of 85%
4. Each major should have 2 representatives: 1 female and 1 male
5. The male representative should be at least 168cm
6. The female representative should be at least 152cm
7. The candidates must have a pleasing personality without bad records and has a good
moral character certificate issued by the university
8. The organizing committee has the right to call the attention of the candidates in cases of
any untoward behavior that would cause disturbance of the scheduled activity.

Mechanics:
Intermission Number (Sports Attire)
1. The intermission number of the candidates will show how they will creatively
introduce themselves in sports attire. The presentation of the intermission
number shall act in accordance with the following guidelines:
This portion is limited to a maximum of two to three minutes per
contestant.
The delegates must present their own personal sense of style.
Contestants are not able to wear and use harmful props/materials
which can harm them and other people. They should wear sports attire
in performing their intermission number.

Swimwear
1. The presentation of the swimwear shall act in accordance with the following
guidelines:
Contestants will wear their swimwear right after their intermission
number.
The outfit must not be daring, or out of context, and should be able to
project confidence upon wearing the swimwear.
Modeling should be simple and not overly complicated. Turns and
‘poses’ are fine, but no “Pro-am” modeling.
2. Points Breakdown for the Talent Portion will be as follows:
a. Stage Presentation and Modeling (25%)
i. Attention is given to the contestant’s ability to walk to the beat
of the music, modeling turns
ii. Having FUN
b. Personality, Stage Presence (25%)
i. Attention is given to natural smiles and eye contact.
c. Interaction with the judges (25 %)
i. Ability to ‘connect’ to the audience
ii. Ability to ‘draw’ people to them by their presence and
charisma
d. Overall Appearance: Personal style and grooming. (25%)

Evening Gown and Suit
1. The presentation of the evening gown will act in accordance with the
following guidance:
Delegates must carry themselves with dignity, grace, poise, and
elegance. Judges will not be evaluating the cost or designer label of the
gown, but rather how well it suits the delegate (e.g., fit, color, style) as
well as the delegate's on-stage presentation
Contestants will follow a runway pattern when modeling. Judges will
be made aware of the pattern.
2. Criteria for the Evening Gown and Suit are as follows:
a. Confidence, Choice of Evening Gown, Poise, Posture, Personality, Charm,
Style (25%)
b. Charisma, Grace, Execution, and Overall Appearance. (25%)
c. How well did the contestant model her gown in terms of technique and
elegance? (20%)
d. How well did the contestant’s gown flatter her figure? (15%)
e. How well did the contestant convey confidence with the body type and
choice of the gown? (15%)
Program Proper
1. The pageant shall be divided into four parts:
Intermission Number
Swimwear Competition
Evening Gown/Suit Competition
Question and Answer Portion
2. Only one elimination process will happen, the elimination will happen after
the evening gown competition and only 5 female candidates and 5 male
candidates will go through the question-and-answer portion, and after that, the
winners will be chosen.
3. The judges must not be in any way related to any of the candidates.
4. The judges’ decision shall be made public only during the final pageant.
5. The candidate shall provide/take care of:
Shoes or sandals and accessories to be used during the pageant;
Sports Attire during the Intermission Number
Swim-swear during the swimwear competition
Evening Gown for the Final Presentation
6. The candidates shall be judged only (1) instances:
(1) During the pageant day on April 29, 2023, at 6pm in the evening
7. Major and Minor Awards shall be given on the following aspects for both
male and female category:
Best in Sports Attire
Best in Intermission Number
Best in Swimwear
Best in Gown/Suit
Best Speaker
