The population of the world is increasing day by day. This is because of sophesticated
hospitals which have been coming up with newer technologies which helps to reduce
the mortality rate, on contrary to it has led to issues in availability of food. Few people
think that harvesting insects can be one of the option to combat hunger in the world.
Does this option will really go well? In this essay we will he descussing the benefits
and disadvantages of eating insects.

To begin with advantages of eating insects, harvesting insects can include wide variety
of options to the food menu. For example, there are many variety of insect breeds, so
the option for eating increases.

The disadvantages of eatinf insects are, to begin with, the breeding of insects are very
difficult. they require a particular climate and at which they breed.

In addition, if insects which have been harvested turns to be a weed, may affect the
health condition of the human beings. for example, if the butterflies are breeded, then
the fluttering of the wing may lead to the climatic change in that particular area which
may affect the health condition of human beings. Or what id the insects turn out to be
poisonous for human population?

Furthermore, in a world population estimating 25% of the people are vegetarians.

Thinking about the cultivation of insects and ignoring the vegan population doesnt
feels to be correct. and the insects may rely on vegetation may futher reduce the food
option for the vegan population.

In conclusion, in my opinion harvesting insects have both advantages and

disadvantages, but the disadvantages outweighs the advantages, beacuse one has to
even think the adverse effect of increase in populatio of insects affecting the web of
food chain
