- TT Introduces: Hello class! Here is a question for all of you
today. When you guys doodle in your own notebooks, do you
ever plan it out when you doodle or do you just doodle
without thinking or planning at all? Give me your honest

- TT: Okay, great answers. Well, did you know that there is a
term for it, It’s called, “Freehand Drawing”
Teacher will hand out supplies to each student while talking.
- TT: The term Freehand Drawing is a technique of which the
person drawing will not use any planning or sketching at all
and jump straight into drawing and coloring. This technique
helps for you guys learn how to guide the drawing with only
your hand as the tool.
- TT: Now I’ve given you all the necessary supplies, we are
going to do a drawing exercise with the Freehand Technique.
The teacher will follow along with the students with their own pencil
and paper.
We Do (Core)
- TT: Ok guys, so First, I want you guys to draw a random
shape on the paper. Any shape, A square, circle, rectangle, or
even a blob figure. I’ll let you guys do your shape real quick.
The teacher will wait for 30 seconds.
- TT: Ok, now most of you have drawn your shape, I want you
to try to use the shape to help you guide and to try drawing a
animal with it. I will give you guys 5 minutes to do it. If you
need help deciding or with anything, just raise your hand.
- TT: Ready? OK, start!
