3. Application Requirements
For undergraduate programs:
- Higher Secondary School Diploma
- TOEFL (500 paper) or IELTS (6.0) or English Proficiency Test when you arrive at CIU
For graduate (MSC or PhD) programs:
- A valid university-level degree (e.g. Bachelor’s)
- TOEFL (500 paper) or IELTS (6.0) or English Proficiency Test when you arrive at CIU

4. Application Procedure
1. Apply online (ciu.edu.tr) or via our African representatives with the following documents:

b. High School Diploma and course descriptions for undergraduate degree applications
c. Bachelor’s Degree Diploma and transcripts for graduate degree (MSc or PhD) applications
d. Evidence of English Language competence (TOEFL or IELTS)
e. Passport photocopy
f. Passport size photograph
2. If eligibility is confirmed, you will receive your Conditional Acceptance Letter (CAL) from our
international office via e-mail.
3. Transfer 1/3 of package price (if applicable) or 1/2 of tuition & fees for undergraduate programs
(for MSc or PhD, full amount of tuition & fees is required) to CIU account through your local bank.
4. After we recieve this initial installment, you will receive your Unconditional Acceptance Letter
(UAL) from our international office via e-mail.
5. With your UAL, you will apply for your VISA (guaranteed with a UAL letter) at the nearest Turkish
Embassy (this will take 2-3 working days).
6. Book your flight to North Cyprus’s Ercan Airport and tell us about your flight details so we can
meet you at the airport and take you to the CIU Campus!

Price List (2012-2013)
All Inclusive Packages (package deals get 5% off from the tuition fee)
Prices (inclusive of VAT) are per year and include tuition and fees, accomodation (shared
bathroom means two adjacent rooms sharing a bathroom), food (21 meals/week), health insurance,
bus transpotation and €150 deposit for accomodation. *For Pharmacy (5 years), package prices are
€4000 higher. Initial amount due (in order to get an Unconditional Acceptance Letter (UAL) is 1/3 of the
package price. The remaining 2/3 can be paid in one or two installments upon student’s arrival at CIU.
Tuition and Fees (includes health insurance)
If a package deal is not preferred, the student needs to pay 1/2 of the tuition & fees for undergraduate
programs and the full amount of tuition & fees for graduate (MSc or PhD) programs for UAL.
