PGAdmin Error: The server could not be contacted

Possible solution for this error is uninstalling and reinstalling pgAdmin. Follow the below steps for the same.

Search for ‘Add or remove programs’ in Search for ‘POSTGRESQL’ in the list of Select PostgreSQL application and click
search menu and open it applications on Uninstall
PGAdmin Error: The server could not be contacted

Select “Individual components” option here Select only pgAdmin here and click on next pgAdmin will be uninstalled from your system
PGAdmin Error: The server could not be contacted

Open [Link] on your web browser and click on the “Download” option on the top
PGAdmin Error: The server could not be contacted

On the downloads page, select your operating system


PGAdmin Error: The server could not be contacted

Select any version, you can prefer the latest pgAdmin version.

Click on the .exe file to download it.

Run the downloaded file to start the installation Accept and click on Next

Click “Next” Once pgAmin installs, open pgAdmin and enter password

Now, you should be able to access pgAdmin.
