Physics Problems on Forces and Motion

If a body loses half of its velocity penetrating 3 cm of wood, it will penetrate a total of 4 cm before stopping. Three identical blocks of mass 2 kg are pulled with a force of 10.2 N across a friction surface. The tension in the string between blocks B and C is 9.2 N. When forces F1, F2, F3 act on a particle of mass m such that F1 and F2 are perpendicular, the particle remains stationary if F1 is removed. The acceleration will be (F2 - F1)/m.
