UNIT-II Data Collection

Primary & secondary sources of data collection, questionnaire, interviews, observations, projective
techniques.

UNIT -III Sampling

Sampling, sampling process, probability techniques, non-probability technique


UNIT-IV Hypothesis Testing:

Two tailed and one tailed of hypothesis, chi-square and analysis of variance, simple regression and
correlation, the sign test, the raum test, the man-Whitney test, rank correlation, Basics of Hypothesis-
Parametric and non Parametric test
UNIT-V Scaling & Report Writing : Types of scale- nominal, ordinal, interval and ratio,
scaling techniques-socio metric, scalogams , Report writing.
