Script For Vlog

Stephen Nicolai A. Decamora introduces himself and says they will discuss the Earth and ecosystems. The document defines an ecosystem as a dynamic complex of plant, animal, and microorganism communities that interact with the non-living environment. It states that ecosystems provide humans with water, food, and energy, but many have been disrupted by human activity like pollution and overuse. The document concludes by saying humans are suffering from their own negligence and it is not too late to act to protect the environment for future generations.

Good day, everyone! I am Stephen Nicolai A.

Decamora, from
2EDFIL4A (State name, course and section, name of subject,
name of professor). Today we will talk about the Earth and the
Ecosystem.

Earth is composed of many different ecosystems and each one is

a "dynamic complex of plant, animal, and micro-organism
communities interacting with the non-living environment as a
functional unit.”

These ecosystems are an intricate part of the human lifecycle as

they provide us with our water, food and energy. Since mankind
is in a take and take some more relationship with the
ecosystems, many of them have had their natural processes
disrupted, not to mention the added pollution and excessive use.

Earth provides enough to satisfy every man’s needs, but not

every man’s greed said by Mahatma Gandi.

We, the human beings, are living in a polluted environment, and

it is getting worse day by day. There is nothing else to blame but
ourselves. We are suffering from our own negligence. God has
given us everything we need but all we do is to ruin HIS beautiful
creation. If we do not want to see the future to suffer, It Is not
yet too late to act.
Video Needed for:
 Save Water - Water is a vital commodity in every
ecosystem. Did you know that leaving the tap running while
brushing your teeth uses around five gallons of water? You
can save water every day by doing things like turning off the
tap while you brush your teeth, fixing leaky faucets, taking
shorter showers and watering plants with the cooled water
used to boil vegetables rather than pouring it down the
drain.
 Conserve Energy - you're going to need to use electricity.
Creating simple habits like turning off lights and appliances
when they're not being used will add up.
 Try Eco-Friendly Products - Shop for products that don't
use harmful chemicals either during their manufacture or in
the actual product themselves. Eco-friendly personal hygiene
products and cosmetics have the added benefit of being
better for your health as skin is the largest organ in the
human body and highly absorbent. Additionally, help reduce
landfill waste and excess rubbish by selecting reusable items
rather than disposable ones.
 Recycle to Lower Waste - Recycling takes an item and
reuses it for the same purpose it was intended or breaks it
down into its base material for reuse. Recyclable packaging
is a much better option than single-use packaging that will
end up in a landfill, however, the effectiveness of recycling
depends on local facilities. You can also recycle packaging
yourself. For example, clean jars and fill them with your own
salad dressings or preserves or save boxes for when you
need to mail presents to friends.
 Volunteer for a Cause - Thousands of volunteer groups
around the world spend their free time working to preserve
local ecosystems. Joining native planting projects or
participating in rubbish cleanup days helps restore and
rebuild natural habitats to support thriving ecosystems.
Some wildlife monitoring projects don't even require you to
leave your home. Collecting wildlife count data from your
backyard or reviewing conservation camera footage provides
precious data about animal distribution for restoration
projects.
Outro:
There are many ways in protecting and conserving our
environment. Therefore, we must encourage and reach out to
other people. As a result, their perspective and point of view
will be changed. Simple and little things mean a lot. Moreover,
all of us can make a difference. The more we are concerned
and environmentally conscious, the more peaceful mind and
happier lives we'll have.
