Red Moon Camp

I know what you might think about summer camps: they have canoeing, sports, trips, bonfires,
horror stories in the moonlight, monsters, robots and ghosts. You probably ask yourselves why would
things such as monsters, ghosts, werewolves and ghosts be in a regular summer camp. Well, this isn’t
any summer camp, this is camp Red Moon.
This camp was originally created seventy years ago, when the evil of this camp appeared. It was
a dark night with red moon when something very strange happened. Two kids went to the owner of
the camp, uncle Theodore, because they heard whispers that said: “Get out! Get out!”. The two boys
were scared, but suddenly, out of nowhere, a ghost grabbed one of the them and he was never seen
again. This is how Camp Red Moon got its name.
There is another story about a monster who stole people’s faces and lives. It was one regular
summer at the camp when Richard arrived at the camp when he met his new cabin mate, Sammy. A
week later, the new kid, Sammy, started to look the same as Richard did. One night, Sammy told a
story about monsters who lived in the woods next to the camp; he also said that monsters chose a
person and then stole his look and life. Richard realised that he was the victim of a monster and that
the monster was no other than Sammy. At the end of the camp nobody could tell who was the real
Richard. When the camp ended, the real Richard’s family took home his copy, Sammy.
Camp Red Moon is a very strange camp, but there are still more stories to tell. Every camp
hosted a robot fight contest and this is why Jackson came this year. On the first few days Jackson met
his team and began training for the big fight. The contest started and the Red Moon camp team was
very confident, but the other team was better than them. After the first round Jackson’s team fixed
their robots, but they discovered that their opponents were robots that wanted to control the world.
After the Red Moon Camp team defeated the robots it turned out that Jackson was a robot, too.
Come to listen to another story if you aren’t too scared. This is a story about the ghosts that
haunted cabin six. It was a regular summer when Steven and his stepsister, Cali, went to Camp Red
Moon. There were rumours about cabin six being haunted by ghosts that wanted revenge. There
were three girls who died in a fire. That night Steven and Cali decided to investigate the cabin to see if
the rumours are true. The three ghosts showed the kids what actually happened: a fire started and
their door was blocked by a boy. That boy was actually Cali’s father. The ghosts took William, Cali’s
dad, and Cali vanished.
The fire is dying out, but there are more stories about Camp Red Moon. There are more
undiscovered mysteries hiding in the woods…
