weakness of limbs, convulsions, coma and death from respiratory ȡèȡ^èȯȡɅ@

numbness in the facial area, this effect is transient, lasting upto 24

Precautions to be taken to avoid harm to the beneficial insects like honey bees and natural enemies of pests :

Symptoms Of Poisoning
Symptoms of poisoning are generally non-specific and would be similar as for other pyrethroids. Ingestion by humans may produce
symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, diarrhoea and allergic manifestations. If larger doses are ingested, it may cause
disturbances of the nervous systems with tremors, ataxia, weakness of limbs, convulsions, coma and death from respiratory depression.
Skin contact may cause a subjective sensation of tingling or numbness in the facial area, this effect is transient, lasting upto 24 hours and
there is no evidence of any long term or cumulative effects. Eye contact ±irritations.
First Aid
Remove the affected person from the danger zone to a well-ventilated room or to fresh air. Protect the affected person from cold. In case of
suspected poisoning, stop work immediately and call a physician.
Skin Contact: Remove contaminated clothing immediately and thoroughly wash the affected parts of the body with plenty of water and soap.
Wash contaminated clothing before re-use. If skin irritation persists, call a physician.
Eye Contact: Rinse immediately with plenty of water, also under the eyelids, for at least 15 minutes. Remove contact lenses. Immediate
medical attention is required.
Ingestion: : If more than a trace has been swallowed and the patient in conscious, rinse out the mouth with water and give approximately 300
ml warm water to drink. Induce vomiting by inducing back of throat seek material attention immediately with product label. In case of
ingestion of large quantities, absorbents such as activated charcoal may be of value.
Inhalation: If inhaled move to fresh air. Keep patient warm and at rest. Call a physician immediately. Give artificial respiration preferably
mouth to mouth if possible.
Antidote
There is no specific [Link] and supportive therapy. Gastric lavage or emesis may be effective when preformed within 4 hours
of ingestion. Inhalation of gastric contents must be prevented. Anti-histamines may be applied in case of manifestation of allergic symptoms.

Safety Precaution:
Avoid inhalation and any contact of skin, eyes and mouth, while handling the technical grade herbicide. Use full protective clothing such as
chemical resistant gloves, apron, mask, chemical resistant goggles, hat and solid footwear while handling. Remove clothing immediately if
contaminated. Wash contaminated clothing before re use. Do not eat, drink, smoke or chew anything while handling the technical grade
herbicide. If any indisposition occurs, stop work, follow first aid measures, and call a physician immediately. Wash contaminated clothes and
parts of body after handling the product. Always follow the Label/ Leaflet instructions while handling the product.
Avoid dust formation. Control the spills at its source. Prevent the spill from spreading or contaminating soil or from entering sewage and
drainage systems or any other water body. Clean up the spills immediately. In case of emergency spills, use suitable respiratory gas mask.
Storage Conditions
1. The packages containing the insecticides should be stored in original containers in separate rooms or premises away from the rooms or
premises used for storing other articles particularly articles of food and animal feed and shall be kept in separate almirahs under lock and
key, away from children, unauthorized persons and animals.
2. The rooms or premises meant for storing the insecticide shall be well built, dry, well lit and ventilated and of sufficient dimension to avoid
contamination with vapor.
3. Keep away from direct sunlight, damp.

Disposal of used containers, washing from equipment and surplus material :

1. It shall be the duty of manufactures, formulators of insecticides and operators to dispose packages or surplus material and washings in a
safe manner so as to prevent environmental or water pollution.
2. The used packages shall not be left outside to prevent their re-use.
3. The packages shall be broken and buried away from habitation.
