Sample Answer to PART 1
1. What's your favorite restaurant?
My favorite restaurant in my hometown is called Wild Honey. This restaurant provides
not only delicious food, but also great service. The restaurant offers delicious yet not
very expensive meals. And I think the service there is very good. Customers are treated
with great respect.
2. Who do you often have meals with?
I often have meals alone. Although I share a room with others, we don't have the same
schedules. Contrary to many people’s opinion, I think eating on my own is quite
comfortable.
3. Do you often dine out?
No, I don’t like dining out. One reason is that it’s too expensive and I can't afford eating
out every day. The other reason is that I like cooking, and I think I do it quite well. Now

meals on my own, then there is no reason for me to dine out.

Part 2 one minute to think about what you're going to say. You can make some
notes to help you if you wish.

Sample Answer to PART 2
Getting a scuba diving license is something I desire to do but don’t have the time for it. Scuba
diving can be a dangerous sport in some cases, so a certificate is required under many
circumstances when it comes to scuba diving and exploring the sea. To get the certificate for the
most basic level, I need to receive training for three or four days. After that, I can choose to work
on getting certificates for more advanced levels of scuba diving.
One of the biggest reasons why I want to be trained for a certificate is that I hope one day I could
team up with my friend Jack, who is a scuba diving professional. With the certificate, we could
have more adventures in the sea and I will be less afraid with my friend’s company. Plus, I am a
person who loves marine creatures a lot. So maybe Jack and I can do something good for the
ocean and marine lives with our scuba diving skills.
But right now, I’m concentrating on my final year at school, so my scuba diving dream would
have to wait. After graduation, I’ll go to Thailand, pass the license training courses, and practice
my scuba diving skills in the tropical sea.

Sample Answer to PART 3
1. Do you think successful people have better time management skills than others?
Yes, I do think successful people have better time management skills than others, as the successful people that I
know are all highly self-disciplined. They will make a very detailed plan for each day and execute the plan strictly,
like getting up at 5 a.m., reading for an hour every night, and exercising between work events. I really admire their
execution.
2. Is time management important?
Time management is an important skill to cultivate. It can help you make the most out of each day, leading to
success at work or school. To manage your time, use your time productively by working in the right environment
and prioritizing tasks. Minimize distractions by turning off your phone and quitting social media when necessary.
Make sure to follow a daily schedule that allows you to make the most out of each day.
3. What are the effective ways to manage time?
Before you begin your workload for the day, prioritize. To-do lists are a great tool, but organize them a little rather
than just writing down everything that needs to get done. Group tasks in terms of importance. For example, if you
need to finish a report for work, that would be an urgent task. If you need to begin another work project, but the
deadline is not for another two weeks, that would be an "important, but not urgent" task. If you would like to go
for a run after work, but it's not vital, that would be a "low-priority" task.
