Steadfast in following God's call,
Bastion of chastity,

Teacher of faith,

Clothed in the chasuble of Christ by Mary herself

V. Pray for us, blessed Ildephonsus of Toledo,


R. That we may be worthy of the promises of Christ.

Let us pray: 
Almighty and eternal God, who gave your holy Church blessed Ildephonsus as Bishop, grant
that what he taught when moved by the divine Spirit may always stay firm in our hearts; and as
by your gift we embrace him as our patron, may we also have him as our defender to entreat
your mercy. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the
unity of the Holy Spirit, God, for ever and ever

Matatag sa pagsunod sa tawag ng Diyos,

Ama ng mga dukha,
Takbuhan ng mga maysakit,
Bantog na mapaghimala,
Tagapagtanggol ng tamang doktrina,
Guro ng pananampalataya,
Sindak ng mga erehe,
Mangingibig ng Eukaristiya,
Lingkod ng mga misteryo ng Diyos,
Dinamtan ng kasulya ni Kristo ni Maria mismo

V. Ipanalangin mo kami, banal na Ildefonso ng Toledo


R. Upang kami ay maging dapat sa mga pangako ni Kristo
Manalangin tayo: 
Ama naming makapangyarihan, ipagkaloob mong ang obispong si San Ildefonso ay aming
maparangalan, yamang niloob mong siya’y manguna sa pag-unlad sa kabutihan
sa salita at gawa niya sa kapakanan ng kanyang pinangasiwaan, kaya kami rin naman ay
makadamang lagi sa pagdalangin niya para sa aming kapakanan sa pamamagitan ni
Hesukristo kasama ng Espiritu Santo magpasawalang hanggan.
