33. A bus stop is barricaded from the remaining part of the road, by using 50 hollow cones made of
recycled cardboard. Each cone has a base diameter of 40 cm and height 1m. If the outer side of
each of the cones is to be painted and the cost of painting is Rs 12 per m2 , what will be the cost
of painting all these cones? (Use  = 3.14 and take 1.04 = 1.02 )

34. The base of a triangular filed is three times its altitude. If the cost of sowing the field at Rs. 58
per hectare is Rs. 783, find its base and height.

Find the area of a triangular field whose sides are 91m, 98m and 105 m in length. Find the height
corresponding to the longest side.

36. Read the text carefully and answer the questions:
Rainwater harvesting system is a technology that collects and stores rainwater for human use.
Anup decided to do rainwater harvesting. He collected rainwater in the underground tank at the
rate of 30 cm3 / sec.

(i) What will be the equation formed if the volume of water collected in x seconds is taken
as y cm3 ? and also find amount of water collected in 2 hours?

(ii) Write the equation in standard form.


(iii) How much water will be collected in 60 sec?

How much time will it take to collect water in 900 cm3 ?

37. Read the text carefully and answer the questions:


Tarun and Samay are two friends live in small town. The area near their houses and school is in
the shape of Rhombus. Usually, they go to school by Bicycle.
ABCD is an area in the shape of rhombus in which ADC = 120. Samay and Tarun lived at D
and C and their school located at O.

(i) Find the measure of DCB.

(ii) Calculate measure of CDO and DCO.

38. Read the text carefully and answer the equations:
In the Meharali, New DTC bus stop was constructed. The bus stop is barricaded from the
remaining part of the road, by using 50 hollow cones. Each hollow cone is made of recycled
cardboard.
Each cone has a base diameter of 40 cm and a height of 1m.

(i) Find the curved surface are of the cone.


(ii) What is the volume of a cone?

If the cost of cardboard is Rs. 100 per m2 then what will be cost of cardboard for 50 cones?

(iii) If the outer side of each of the cones is to be painted and the cost of painting is Rs. 12
per m2 , What will be the cost of painting all these cones?
