o TOR marking on every meter length with every bar length min. 11 to 12 m.

o It should bent smoothly & should not develop any crack while re-bending.

Physical Requirement of Crushed sand :-

Perform Sieve analysis and confirm size of particles for the following criteria :-
- 4.75 mm sieve retain not more than 5 %
- 600 sieve passing should be more than 30 %
- Passing through 150 sieve maximum 15%
- Passing through 75 sieve maximum 10 %

Coarse aggregates
Quality of stone should be Blackish, Gray and uniform colour and hard.
Organic material absent and white spots not to be seen.
Stone dust should not be present and Flakiness not more than 20%
Perform Sieve analysis and confirm size of particles.
20 mm sieve passing should be more than 85%.
10 mm sieve passing not more than 10%.
Water absorption should be less than 5% by weight.

Concrete Blocks
The size should be as per requirement and the texture homogeneous.
The frog should not be less than 1cm & not more than 2 cm.
The water absorption should not be more than 10 % by weight.
The blocks should be free from cracks.
The edges should be sharp, right angle and breakage not more than 3%.
The strength of brick to be tested by dropping the brick from a height of 1m height
on its flat face & it should not break.

Bricks / Fly Ash Bricks :-
The color and texture of the bricks should be uniform.
The frog should not be less than 10 mm & not more than 25 mm.
The water absorption not be more than 20% in clay and 14 % in FA brick by weight.
When banged the bricks should produce clear metallic ringing sound.
The over burnt bricks and breakage should not be more than 5%.
Dropping the brick from a height of 1 m on the ground it should not break.
The brick should have all faces in right angles & in plumbed face.
The Compressive strength of Brick must be minimum 3.5 N/mm2
The Width variations must not be more than ± 2 mm.
The Height variations must not be more than ± 2 mm.
Fly ash brick surface texture must be grain type smooth surface is avoided.

The blocks must interlock with each other tolerable gap ± 1 mm

It should harden within 12 hours after application on walls.
It should be consistent, smooth & judged by visual observation.
No lumps should be observed. The stitching of the bags should be intact.

Chemically Green marble has 38-40% Sio2, 34-38% MgO, 2-3% Al2O3, 5-6% Iron
Oxides,1-2% CaO & 12-13% LOI. Marble and other calcareous stones, are referred to
as acid sensitive. Calcareous stones are readily dissolved in acid, therefore acidic
products should not be used on limestone and marbles. There are several types of
marbles, including calcites (from calciferous limestone), dolomites (from dolomite
limestone), serpentines (typically green marbles) and travertine (sedimentary
limestone). Each of these is similar in their composition, that being predominantly
calcium carbonate, and their capability to take a polish.
