Objectives: 1. To develop the love of reading bible scriptures that would lead the
children follow the good teaching of the book.
2. To strengthen the relationship of the children and their relationship
with God.
3.Encourage the learners to impart bible in their daily life’s activity.

NARRATIVE REPORT
1. Introduction/ Rationale:
The entire Christian community celebrates National Bible
Month, as s t r e n g t h e n e d b y P r e s i d e n t R o d r i g o “ R o d y ” R o a
D u t e r t e ’ s i s s u a n c e o f Proclamation no. 124 declaring January as
National Bible Month, and its culmination on the last week of the month
as National Bible Week. This event brings into focus the significance of
imbibing the words of the Scripture towards molding Filipino families
into character and nation-building. Every year, the nation commemorates
and celebrates the importance of the Bible in nation building. Churches
have come together through parades,m o t o r c a d e s , a n d r a l l i e s
p r o c l a i m i n g t h e y e a r l y t h e m e s o f t h e B i b l e celebra tion.
On January 5, 2017, Rodrigo Duterte, President of the Philippines,
signed into law National Bible Day. He proclaimed the last Monday of January
as the official date for the celebration of National Bible Day.
On February 5, 2018, Senator Manny Pacquiao, the main author, and
sponsor of the legislation, advocated for National Bible Day. Consequently, on
December 20, 2018, the president signed it into law under the Republic Act
11163.
Observance of the “Bible” in the Philippines is a Christian tradition
enshrined in the constitution and has continued to receive nationwide support.
The Constitution states that “It is the policy of the state that the government

shall aid and encourage the development of the moral character and spiritual
foundation of the Filipino people.” Hence in the Philippines, the “Bible” is
deemed a national symbol of peace and spirituality.
2.Narration of Accomplishment in accordance with the Training/ Activity Matrix/
Schedule:
Truly blessed if we start the day with the word of God, our mind will be
enlightened. The kick off ceremony was led by Maam Fatima Echon, School ESP
Coordinator by sharing story from the bible. She mentioned the importance of reading
the Bible and learning the God’s words.
National Bible Month was celebrated through different activities by grade. It’s
amazing to learn that Binabalian learners are good in portaying Bible characters. They
are also familiar in Bible stories.
