SCOPE OF WORK FOR DISPENSER BUFFING WORK
1.0 INTRODUCTION
Adani Total Gas Ltd (ATGL) is engaged in city gas distribution projects for supplying
Piped Natural Gas (PNG) to domestic households, commercial & Industrial consumers,
and Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) to automobile sector. Currently ATGL is operating
in Ahmedabad, Baroda, Porbandar, Kheda, Surendranagar, Barwala & Navsari in Gujarat
State, Udaipur, Bhilwara & Chittorgarh in Rajasthan State, Faridabad, Palwal,
Mahendragarh & Bhiwani in Haryana State, Khurja & Jhansi in UP State, Bhind in
Madhya Pradesh. ATGL is expanding in remaining geographical areas authorized by
the PNGRB.
ATGL is now inviting tenders on competitive bidding basis for cleaning with buffing
work of dispenser body.
2.0 SCOPE OF WORK
Contractor shall be responsible for below mentioned prime accountabilities but not
limited to:
2.1 Contractor shall confirm to ATGL about their availability to carry out cleaning as per
the schedule finalized along with ATGL Engineer-In-Charge (EIC). ATGL will depute
its person in case they wish to witness the work.
2.2 Contractor shall bring manpower, tools & tackles for surface finishing work / buffing.
2.3 Contractor shall start the cleaning work only after ensuring the barricading in
dispenser working area is provided by station dealer / representative.
2.4 Contractor shall use ELCB, RCCB and no unsafe joints for hand buffing wheel tool.
2.5 Contractor shall remove existing stickers on outside surface of dispenser and remove
all dirty and unwanted plastics on it.
2.6 Contractor shall clean whole outside surface of dispenser properly and there must
not be any dirty spot on dispenser outside body.
2.7 Contractor shall use buffing wheel or abrasive material wheel to clean and shine the
surface but it must not damage the dispenser body.
2.8 Contractor’s personnel shall inform the exact time needed for carrying cleaning to
ATGL representative. Contractor shall get familiarized of the work to be executed
and obtain all necessary permit/approval/clearance/ authorization to carry out the
work, from ATGL before starting work at site.
2.9 Contractor shall carry permit issued by ATGL on site and manpower must use PPEs
(i.e. safety helmets, ear plugs, safety shoes, hand glows, safety goggles etc.) and safe
instruments for surface cleaning and buffing.
2.10 Contractor has to ensure the safety of man and due care shall be taken to ensure
dispenser parts such as Hose, Tubing, Mother Board, Display, Pressure Gauges, Nozzle

etc. are not damaged during cleaning of Dispenser Body. Damages of the existing
installations due to negligence will be recovered as per the decision of ATGL EIC,
which will be final.
2.11 Contractor shall contact respective ATGL engineer after work completion to ensure
perfect surface cleaning.
2.12 Contractor shall ensure that proper cleaning around the dispenser has been done
after completion of work.
